Very interesting link, thanks. It seems whey protein can be good and/or bad for diabetics, leaving aside the question of drug interractions. I'd have thought a tablespoon sprinkled on my morning porridge would do no harm, but of course like so many supplements it might do no good either.This info comes from the Mayo Clinic USA who are a centre of excellence for diabetes care:

My GP, my diabetes consultant, and the manager of local Holland & Barrett all advised me not to use whey protein products because they are contraindicated by many of the meds I take.
