Is it advice, gentlemen?

most people are not really that many hours outdoors at winter, so I think it does not really make a difference nowadays.. in the old times where people had to work hard outdoors it would have made a difference I guess, nowadays I think the most widespread problem would be getting too few vitamin D´s because one is indoors and not out in the sun for the two hours a days which is acquired to have one's skin make enough vitamin D in wintertime here in the northern hemisphere... so take some vitamin D pills would be my advice in the winter time

Thank you for the edit, I have had a lot of good advice from women aswell as men here, and I try to pass that advice on too :)
thanks for your replay
I do not know English very well so I'm wrong in almost all subjects. You should forgive me until I learn well

As has been said, you can take in more calories via fats whenever fuel is needed for whatever reason.
There is no biological need for carbohydrates in humans no matter the season.
