ams162 said:hi all and incase u hadnt realised from the title im abit excited
so we have been on the insulin pump fora month and a half and altho dylan has been much more stable we just havent had that eureka moment when everything has fallen into place, that is until yesterday
let me just give u his readings only one not good result amongst them
7am- 7.1
12pm- 6.3
3pm- 7.6
5pm- 8.2
7pm- 15.3
9pm- 5.0
11pm- 7.5
now i realise they could still be a little lower but this is the best day we have ever had and the 15.3 i can explain by we had just finished dinner and the ice cream man came round for the first time this year so i allowed him and ice cream but as he had just finished eating sweet and sour chicken with rice and prawn crackers i felt by testing it wouldnt help so we gave no insulin until 7 when we tested and did a correction.
i am absolutly delighted with those results i have to say and just wanted to share with people who would understand my happiness

im so glad we fought that year to get the pump its all been so worth every tear ive shed in the last 4 years to see my little boy happy and healthy
