Hi @claire1991 . My wife works for the NHS and although she's never phoned in sick many of her co workers do.
D and V always seems to be the go to medical incapacitation.
Now I'm not trying to suggest you should tell" untruths" ........but if you was to phone in with D and V you may get more sympathy. If you say D and V then who's to say it doesn't stand for Diabetes and Virus?
Obviously we'll know it stands for the poos but if they don't ask then you have no need to tell.
Horrendous response! In addition to this, I think they may be advising you to break the law as I seem to remember reading somewhere that your insurance may not be valid if driving with BG above 12mmol. Has anyone else more info on this?
