Worried

I've had a couple of incidents in the past week that have me worried.

On both occasions I had a short period of about 15 where 8 was feeling disoriented and confused..
Then suddenly I almost collapse feeling very faint and like I can't stop myself going down.

Once in Waitrose and a staff member came to my rescue.

Today at home and luckily my daughter was visiting.

It lasted about a half hour or more before I finally seemed to get my wits about me and regain my stability. But each time left me feeling dreadfully exhausted and washed out.

I'm still very new pre diabetic.
Is this something to do with blood sugars do you think?

Hi
Type two's in general don't have hypos unless on meds that cause it.
However maybe your levels are dropping suddenly
Do you have a blood meter do check
Could be low blood pressure
Visit your GP ASAP or phone 111
Hope you feel better very soon
Take care

Hi Mel, sorry to hear you’re having these worrying episodes, it’s all too easy to blame everything on pre diabetes or Diabetes, however we can’t diagnose on the forum, and reading your other posts you have several health conditions any of which may be causing your current problems or something new is happening. I think the best advice we can give is to get an appt with your GP or if/when it happens again call 111.

I'm sorry to hear you are unwell. I hope you feel better soon and your GP gets to the bottom of what's happening.

Could you have been dehydrated?
It has been quite warm here in the UK and I have had to be carful to have a mug of water several times a day. I have not felt as bad as what you describe, but definitely a bit woozy,
Shortly after diagnosis I had several similar incidents but that was in the winter. Just maybe the hot weather and time post diagnosis combined have made it worse - but if they continue it is definitely something to see your GP about.
