Yes that is right I have implemented the Blood Pressure Tab. This one was a lot of hard work because of the presentation.

Entries are shown in a tree view with the daily average shown in the top level. Each individual entry can be amended (not the date of entry column) by double clicking and changing the value.

if you select a top level entry and right click delete all entries for that day are deleted. You can delete individual entries by right clicking those.

Still no graphs of BP yet but they will come along PDQ.

Watch this space for the announcement of when you can pick up version 0.2 (need to complete some more negative testing before I release it

Thanks Andrew, I've really enjoyed tinkering with your gizmo. I can plot a graph with my phone software, but it only allows me to see a very few days, with any detail, at a time, so I love the "longer view".

I've tried downloading the .jar to my iPad, without success. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a laptop app only?

Thanks again for sharing in such a philanthropic way. I, and I'm sure many others, really do appreciate it, and are only slightly (!!) in awe of your computer/programming/database wizardry.

I am not sure about iPads as I do not have one. Just researched it and you cannot run a java app on iOS so is a desktop app only. You can, however, run it elsewhere and connect via some remote desktop type solution

version 0.2.0 with blood pressure measurements now uploaded to my google drive.

Back up your BGDB directory (your database) before you run this version as it will upgrade your database.

Let me know when you find the bugs as I am sure there are some.

Been developing the BP graphs today and looking at my data all together I have noticed something interesting. So here is the graph, 2 more to add: rolling 7 day and daily box and whisker
upload_2014-5-18_15-24-24.png

I have plotted my percentage weight loss against BP readings (never consistent with these) alongside my running 7 day average glucose readings

1. My BP has fallen steadily - I never realised
2. At the same time I had a huge improvement in BG readings I also had a similar improvement in BP

Version 0.2.1 now uploaded with 2 different blood pressure graphs: raw data plots little red triangles and box and whisker plots showing daily mean, median, man, min, upper and lower percentiles.

No database changes from version 0.2.0 so if you have already downloaded that no need to back up

version 0.2.2 uploaded. several small fixes and one major..
You can now print blood pressure readings (printed as they are currently expanded in the table)

Yesterday I was reading another thread by Andrew asking about others experiences with carbo. I cant find that today, which heading is it under please

Now that I have done the blood pressure tab I am thinking about added medication data. Given that I do not take any medication I need your help; what would you like me to display around medication?

Hi Andrew,

Drug name (trade name and generic name). Dose, when dose to be taken. Special instructions e.g. Do not take grapefruit or grapefruit when taking this drug.

I'm going to download your app in the next few days when I am in the right place.

Many thanks.

I have just uploaded version 0.2.4 to the usual place
The changes from the last version are
A pretty (or not so) splash screen so you can see what it is doing when it is starting
You can now record your waist measurement in the weight tab
This version upgrades the database so please back up your data before running it for the first time (copy the BGDB folder)

Andrew sorry for asking this stupid question , but where can I find the BGDB folder to back up the data? All I have at the moment is the Jar file.

When you run the application it creates a database in a folder called BGDB. Depending on your operating system this is in different locations but will be found in your "home" directory. This wiki page will help to locate it or just do a search for BGDB

I have created version 0.2.5 on the train to london. This allows you to plot a graph of waist measurements against date. No database update if you already have version 0.2.4

Will get this version uploaded some time tonight after my exercise session.

Ok got it uploaded now. sorry for delay
