Mine commonly

1)Skimmed or low fat milk with brown toast .
or

2)skimmed or low fat milk with sugarfree cereals.
or

3)Tortilla with white egg.

share yours breakfast also please :)

Mine 6 days out of 7 is porridge, made with milk & water with seeds, blueberries and natural yogurt added. Today I had boiled eggs & toast, with a generous spreading of Marmite over the toast :)

Either frozen cherries, blueberries from Tesco mixed together when on offer I buy about 10 packs of these and remove from their stiff plastic packaging and with a few packs of their frozen berries mix all together in large freezer bags. Take out and put into a ramekin to defrost overnight. Aff 2 heaped teaspoon and heaped chia seeds with cream or yogurt for a brunch.

Or Lidls xxl frozen berries... Big fruits in them currently, better than their normal sized bags. Not enough blueberries though so have to add more.

Always with the same seeds n cream for me, yogurt for hubby.

I also stock on the frozen blueberries when on offer at Tesco's, Aldi also sell them and cost a lot less than Tesco's.

I've shopped around and Tesco sell them for €1.99 per 125g Lidl and Aldi both for €1.79 but Iceland sell them for €1.25 for the same weight. But they dont always have them in...like today for example. I was disgusted after cycling all the way down to the village for em! lol Ended up buying them with some raspberries in Aldi

Hi,

My breakfasts are (at the moment) usually either bacon and egg, sausage and egg, or bulletproof coffee. I'm looking forward to having a few green smoothies soon, too.

(But I'm a type 2 diabetic, so my attitude to carbohydrate is very different from a type 1!)

No different to mine as a type 1. Carbs still play havoc with me. I got advised to have breakfast of porridge or toast...as I never had breakfast. With berries n fat I never spike at all. Porridge n toast well.... Far to many carbs..

Brunneria, type 1's do also do lower carb because of lesser insulin needs and less spikes and less errors!'

I know, but the OP is a type 1, diagnosed only 2 months ago, eating a fair number of carbs and living a very long way from the nearest uk supermarket.

I was trying to avoid confusing him.

I have a small bowl of ready brek make with semi skimmed milk

I'm type 1, as per my dietitian request I'm eating 4 weetbix (52g carbs) plus two slices of brown bread at 15g of carbs. Just recently I see thats a lot and more than what some people eat on here in a day...She wanted me to put more weight on cause I was 53kg in hospital, Just hoped on the scales and now I'm 60.9kg :D

Usually I just have 2 (two) cups of coffee
Then at 11am do a brunch - breakfast/lunch combined

Scrambled or poached egg with extremely lean oven baked bacon
or ham/egg salad or my favourite lettuce parcels .
Chuck any salady favorites into few lettuce leaves roll up .
Place on small plate (looks more this way) munch happily away .
They are soooo tasty and very easy to rustle up too !

As its a brunch - I use and enjoy salady things .

Wow that really is a lot of calories. Have they set you a target weight and told you what to do when you reach it.

It's a way of making coffee much loved by primal and low carb eaters.

It looks and tastes very similar to a latte, but instead of milk, some unsalted butter and coconut oil are blended in.

There are various reactions to it, but everyone who has ever tasted mine has always looked surprised and commented on how nice it is.
