Scrolling.....well, I have no problem with scrolling now I know where things are...BUT when the forum was changed earlier this week, I went looking for the pump forum...and actually thought it had been removed, as I went past many other fora, which if I am honest, are less crucial. Now, i don't mean to start an argument about what is more import etc, but exercise and weight loss are fantastic, and required, however, there are the extras, and not a core forum.

I am also surprised that gestational diabetes gets such a low ranking? It is fine for those of us who have been around a bit, but I think for new people, they may stop scrolling once they get near the bottom, as tehy assume they are not going to find what they are looking for.

sorry, badly worded.

Also, personal plea...could we have a "I am sneaking on the forum at work" skin. I don't mind red, but it would be lovely if, in teh setting, we could choose to actaully make teh forum look more work like...as the red banner, whilst absolutely fab...and a great advertisement etc, does rather shot at my boss that I am not working!

I always think it';s nice to have the 'preview' function in forums whereby if you hover your cursor over the thread title you get the first few lines fo the content without having to click on the thread

Me too!
I also like the idea of making the newly diagnosed advice a sticky somewhere.

Going to make this a sticky in the 'Greetings and Introduction' section so that members can link to it if we are not around. Personally, if we are on line we will still post it in full to new diabetics.

Thats great Sue

I'm a new member and don't want to rock the boat early but thought I would give my opinion. I have found it confusing as to which forum to post a thread in as some of them seem the same to me. Diabetes Discussions, Ask a Question and The Diabetes Soapbox could perhaps all be under Diabetes Discussions and Questions. I have stuck mainly to posting in the Diabetes Discussion and have only today spotted the Medication section at the bottom.

I run my own forum (not related) and have kept the sections down to 10 so as not to thin down the information available to members. I do however on here always use the 'new posts' link so I don't miss anything.

With the colour of the site (I don't have a problem) on Zetaboards it is possible to give a drop down box with options of schemes for users ,, is this a possibility on here?
