Hello @liam1955 . I spent hours shopping this morning and then cleaning, cooking and visiting this afternoon. We go tomorrow morning so I probably won't get on again until Monday evening. I hope you and all the friendly posters on this thread have a great weekend. :)

Have a lovely time and enjoy yourself - just watch what you eat! (mean this in a nice way) Take Care and we'll chat when your home.:)

@TooManyCrisps - Hi. Is dinner your last meal of the day?
Yes, although occasionally I am really hungry when I get back from the gym and so I have a low carb snack like a small piece of cheese or some brazil nuts. But usually I eat as so as i get home from work, so about 5.30 or 6, then go to the gym for a couple of hours. I can't wait until after the gym to eat dinner as I get too hungry.

For those who have missed @loulou99782 she as asked me to send her regards.
She has been very very poorly and hospitalised with double pneumonia which resulted her relying on a ventilator with iirratic bgs.
Being insulin dependant and type2 she has supported us every morning for months.
I've told her we are asking after her and is missed.
She is still very weak but will be back soon.

Sorry for distracting the thread but I felt important to pass on the info as I was asked.

@TooManyCrisps when you were too hungry gyming did you eat nothing before gym?
On our fbg post a few men gyming have been nibbling through exercise (protein of course). Some before and after exercise on nuts to keep bgs steady.
The aim is always steady levels.
The lower fbg the better start to the day.
I think your eating pattern could be tweaked to help you the most.

Would you consider nibbles before gym, throughout and after to carry you along til dinner? (Very very low carb ones)

@ickihun - It's situations like this when another forum member is poorly, that this thread is used to keep us updated. = Thanks Vicky.:) And I wish @loulou99782 a speedy recovery :) And @mo53 has said she is away till Monday Evening.

@ickihun
Thank you so much for this. Please can you send my very best wishes to @loulou99782 I have missed her and was very concerned.

Thanks for posting this @ickihun, we were all worried about her. Can you pass on my best wishes. At the moment we're on the train to Edinburgh so I probably won't be able to get online until later. Have a good day everyone xx

Hi Folks. Not a good fasting today of 7.4 = :(.
Also my urine was slightly "burning" this morning? So, I think I will give the Dapagliflozin a miss today and see how things are.

I take mine with my dinner at 6pm and I usually pee all evening, but didn't pee much last night? And yet I was drinking loads of water because I was really thirsty?

Hi
I eat my dinner before going to the gym as I can't wait until after - I don't get back from the gym until 21.20 or thereabouts. I eat dinner really early, as soon as I get home from work. I have thought about trying a snack before the gym and then dinner afterwards, but hate the idea. It just feels like I would have to go to sleep straight after dinner if I did it that way round. But I could try I guess?

Afternoon, FBG of 8.9, high but it's because I am eating more and I have a stomach infection resolving. Welcome to Scotland @Diamum5972 and hope you have a good time, weather is fair and dry. I have picked up a lot today even though I am sleepy and eating properly is giving me more energy and better mood. :)

Keep everything the same but eat nibbles before and after gym. I feel might be more affective. Let me know @TooManyCrisps :-)

@eddie1968 it's good to have you back regardless of what your bgs are.
I'm hoping your troublesome period will come to an end soon. Your sleeping was a problem the last time I saw a post from you.
I guess we're just lucky it's funded by the nhs and hopefully fixed.
Do you think it will all get sorted out for you or is that the real trouble? They don't know?
I know we put alot of faith in our specialist but it's good they are taking their time then less mistakes.
I'm sure it will be resolved soon.
Nothing can go on forever.
Myself personally I hate myself for being fat and no matter what I do I'll always will be. I know I have to accept who I am but society can be very cruel. Unforgiving even.
I've decided to just get on with having good bgs and hope it will be enough. Fat I am and fat I'll always be.

@ickihun thanks, yes I have had two probems lately - hypersomnia and loss of appetite. One is being resolved now after endoscopy and I am waiting for the results of my hospital sleep study. You may feel you are fat but it's all subjective, I look at your avatar and see a normal cute woman there. It's a myth that men like Kate Moss stick-insect types. I hope you are suitably flattered and take the compliment. :)
