Type 2 Life

@doolallylady - Ha, Ha, Ha, Karen, why should I sacrifice my slice, when I am quite sure there will be others who don't like cake? If someone is going to offer me anything? - it would be rude to refuse:D I have to go now, will be back later, Bye - William x

@maureen5752 - As Karen has said = @doolallylady - maybe re-join under a new Avatar name and see if that would help? Perhaps contact either the Administrator or Giverny? Don't know what else to suggest?? Where is @eddie1968 when you need him?
Tried with new password, worked couple of times, but will get my daughter to try your suggestion when she comes over, I don't want to mess it up even more, I'm useless with phones, thanks. Have you found eddie yet? Ha ha

What gorgeous grandchildren @debrasue you are lucky!
Aww, thank you, Anna - I totally adore them, as well as my little grandson, Eddie, who lives in Nottingham. They make my life complete!
We planted two flowering cherry trees in the garden yesterday - this white one for Lily (the littlest) and a pink one for her sister, Lexi. (We had already planted an apple tree for Eddie.) I took pictures so that the girls can see how much they (and the trees) have grown each year at cherry-blossom time.
Do you have grandchildren?

Finally got back on again, read the post @ liam1995. Thanks very much for your help (hugs). Spoke to diabetes uk they are confused but they did say they've been haveing some problems. So it seems it may be a case of continual rejoining for me zzzzzzzz. The lady I spoke to was lovely & is trying to help. I know how you feel about the food problem, have a friend who always thinks she knows it all!!!!! And she won't listen always talks louder and faster to get her opinion in, she just doesn't understand what we have to do/not do and eat, in her house she doesn't eat breakfast/ dinner only lunch but when she's in someone else's house well different story. She days you can eat this/ that! Said she's been reading on Internet! Well I've missed you all, bet you've all had a good rest! Ha ha Many thanks to Liam & catherinecherub for your help. Hi to everyone
I have a friend like that too, Maureen. She drives me crazy at times, but I just smile and nod, and say nothing. It would be a complete waste of time to try and educate her. Besides, she doesn't even pause to take a breath, so I wouldn't be able to get a word in edgeways anyway! :facepalm:

Is it just trouble logging in or do you use the mobile app?

I can't like anything on the app but can like on the lappy and quoting other posters is a bit hit and miss on the app too

I hope you or your daughter can sort out your troubles on here

Technology kinda scares me lol

Reminds me of Mrs Cumbs lol

Joking

@debrasue ,
Those little girls are beautiful, I bet you have tons of fun with them.

Re: the work, can you hear the violin I've been playing? lol
Is that what it was? LOL - I thought someone was strangling a cat in the garden... :eek:
I'm skiving now as my Inbox is empty for a while, so I thought I'd catch up on what all you layabouts are up to!
Yes, thanks, Karen - the girls are the sunshine in my life, and we do have great fun. They love being outdoors, as I do, and there's always something interesting to find in the garden, like a newt hiding under a log, or some frantic woodlice under the flowerpots. And then there's the baking, and the glue & glitter painting, and making up songs and stories... Hours of fun!
:)

No I don't have grandchildren yet @debrasue - one of our sons is married, one other single and, of course, the youngest son has Autism. I'm auntie to my friends grandchildren and my goddaughters babies

You have a huge treat in store whenever they decide to make you a grandma! It's so much more fun than being a mum, because it's more or less expected that you're going to spoil them rotten, and you have a lot more time to do stuff with them than you ever had when your own children were small.

@debrasue
I so love Mrs Cumbs and spoil her rotten and rightly so

I was just joking lol

It's our 25th wedding anniversary on May 19th got our fave Italian restaurant booked, champagne ordered and will present her with a diamond and amethyst ring

She knows nothing about the meal champers and ring will tell her about meal the night before

You don't look old enough to be a grandma

Good afternoon folks. Busy, knackered and hungry after a hard day. Will do likes later. Not much sun today and only 17C. Still dry but cloudy and windy. Thinking of roast chicken for dinner. Might have some roast spuds too, so yummy. :hungry::)
