Just a spot of painting, nothing too exhausting. Just annoyed it's been needing done since last week. I recharged my batteries yesterday.![]()
I think that's why I'm eating too much protein as just buy less bread and pasta etc but more protein.Hugs for you. Find it hard to lose the weight as I do have some carbs, just can't ultra low. But also heavy with the cheese which keeps me full. At least my bones are getting plenty of calcium.
You're doing what you can, you're doing your best and I quite agree low carb alternatives like almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener (esp Total Sweet, my preferred option) are sooooo expensive. Luckily I can afford it but have often wondered how those with a family manage (do you do two lots of food; which makes it a real chore: do you use expensive alternatives for all; mega cost: do you make fairly "normal" food; and avoid bits that spike you? )
We're behind you all the wayand miles behind if you're jogging

Sunny and fluffy wee clouds today. Lot colder than last weekend. It was 25C last week and now 15C.

I buy occasional low carb bits. I like josephs wraps from amazon.
Next week I'll order some stevia only used bargin shops sweetners til then. Looking at a 500g bag of almond flour but god knows when I'll get it.
You're right it's very very difficult as I eat with family but pick out carbs and was adding extra protein. I need to revise that.
I think the exercise could make a big difference for me. I'm worried about scatica again but I'm going to try again by walking not jogging. Running machine being dusted down from garage for bedroom. I can watch toddler safely too. I do find the weather up north very unpredictable. We all have a nasty cold so had to cancel mum's visit and 6 day old baby meet.I only eat protein and fats @ickihun I can't eat vegetables or indeed, any fibrous food, owing to another chronic medical condition. Even Lidls HP rolls are out, I did try them a couple of times but the pain etc wasn't worth my persevering with them. So that's no salad, no green veg, the only veg I can digest are a few new potatoes IF I remove their skins and do them in the microwave. And then, only very occasionally. The biggest help for me in getting my BG levels into normal range was losing excess weight and upping the amount of exercise I took. Like yourself, I did that gradually. Good luck with your new regime, you will get there in the end I'm sure.
Sorry to hear this. I've been through bereavement too and makes you feel so empty.Hi folks, hope it's a good one all round.
I'm not feeling too good today, we had a phone call this morning telling us 1 of our nieces had died yesterday. I'm so sad about it. It is less than a year since my sister-in-law (her Mum) lost her husband (hubby's brother), in her words, she's devastated and heartbroken. So if I'm not doing much joining in today, please excuse me.
The love of a dog is boundless ..... Until she bounds all over youSaw my we avatar pal Bo yesterday. I sometimes doggy-sit her or take her walkies and playtime. She went absolutely bonkers when she saw me, pines of excitement, jumping all over me and panting with happiness.![]()
I must be her favourite, when I am in my niece's or sister's house she follows me everywhere like a stalker. That's a good sign of a good bond. She lays down next to me too and when I'm there she is only interested in my company. The love of a dog is boundless ..... Until she bounds all over you![]()
