Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

4.7 this morning
I follow your posts John as you seem to be where I want to get too, but are the variations you post possible ? Is there an explanation? Should you always test on the same hand?
Dave
I think the variations are due to the stent I had grafted a few months ago for my AAA my BP is also different on each side now but am unsure if that is the cause or not.

Morning 7.4 today; can't work that one out :banghead:
You may have cold coming. Your anti-bodies working harder and hormones kicking in to support your immune system. Hormones interfer with bgs. Maybe check for a temperature? It will confirm it.

I believe blood pressure affects bgs but no trials or data to support it. Just experience. ;)

Fbg 7.9 without insulin and average carbs. Restarting r-ala supplement today. Restarting very low carb soon too.
I'm happy with this no insulin injected base if it doesn't rise. Monitoring heavily as too high just as dangerous as too low, I'm led to believe.

Tested 3 different fingers

Sounds like meter variant rather than finger blood hun. And maybe a touch of liver kicking in? Eat quickly to stop liver dumping this morning?
