This last week following a report by Michael Mosely sighting Organic Cider Vinegar from recent scientific research as a powerful BG control, I've been testing Defo seen a significant drop. But not the tabs version....the bottled stuff...tastes rank but you can't taste it if mixed with vit c or supplement drinks which I already take each morning
Fbg 7.9 considerable less insulin. Started r-ala supplement again yesterday. I think it takes a few days to make a difference.
If I can get out of 7s for a fbg I'll be happier. 6s were my very very old fbgs. 14yrs ago I never went over 8s eating good GI carbs during the day but 5.6 and 6.1 was my most common fbg numbers.
The real test will be 2 stone lighter and only metformin, no insulin. (Ultimate aim before my birthday).
Nothing is impossible.
It took me a while to get a lower FBG after a fast day. For quite a few weeks the morning after would be higher than after a normal day. My uneducated guess for this was that it took time to use up all the glucose stored in the liver and other body tissues, and until it is all gone your body will use it in response to the fast.
