What did you eat today ?

lol meant to be "cod"
We have some very nice fish to eat here in Australia, but none of them match North Sea Cod, Haddock, and Grimsby Kippers..

After nearly fifty years of living here in Australia that is the only thing I really miss. I forgot Whelks, I could go a big plateful or two those to eat.

Chicken breasts and salad for dinner.

Not a huge eater of fish but also like scampi and Tuna

Today is likely going to be Chinese takeaway even though my bloods are high today

Good job! Now that's what I call 'Pretty Low Carb'! :)

I have always thought about trying organic foods. The only thing that has stopped me is that they always seem to be more expensive. Or maybe that's gluten free I'm thinking of. Anyway considering the amount of weight I have put on recently since diagnosis is extremely scary. :bigtears:

That's organic alright, food is expensive enough without paying more.

It's super phosphate grown stuff for us, then GM if we could get it.

Imagine GM potatoes without carbs, all the other great food full of carbs modified out. It will not happened in my lifetime but it will happen eventually.

Awesome and very interesting.

Just like a cure for diabetes. I'm pretty sure that they are not as far off as we think.

One of the main reasons why organic cost more is that the food is typically of a higher standard and tastes better for it and has less to do with the organic nature of it

Today had no breakfast but haggis and chips for dinner and a cheese and tomato chutney sandwich for lunch followed by a fruit pot the latter being my treat for putting up with the trip to the podiatry clinic

Another thing on my list to try is haggis. Are they not the sheep like creatures with legs shorter on one side than the other?

Today had toast for breakfast then for dinner had peppers, onions. sun-dried tomatoes fried in tomato infused oil with spicy meatballs and chips

Tonight will be chicken and mushroom soup
