2016/17 Football Season

Yes, Wenger has been a great Manager. In many ways, greater than Alex Ferguson, in my opinion, and certainly a better human being. If he is on his way out - and it's still if - I hope he is allowed to step down with dignity; it's the least that Arsenal owe him.

It's just the way it goes from time to time your team loses. 1 game springs to mind when we played Arsenal at theirs in the FA Cup and we kept hammering their goal and eventually one went in and you should have seen Wengers face. It was a classic like he had seen a ghost. He even admitted at the end of the game he thought they were going out. Fortunately for them we gave them a penalty and followed by a winner. I was dead proud of our performance that day. I remember watching it on telly. :)

The last one though...'looking forward to seeing Arsenal fans TV' is part of the reason we have this problem. Arsenal fans TV is full of moaners who would never be pleased whatever happened. Several seasons ago the home fans were slating Eboue. We away fans kept bolstering him up with our postive support and things got better. Supporters are meant to be there as support during the game. If they don't like it they should stay away. They wouldn't be missed, there's alot of folk who would love to be able to buy a ticket. I moan a bit on here and privately to family, publically though when I'm at a match I support the team.
 
The big day has arrived at last. 1000's of Mancunians will be winging their merry way across the Pennines very soon. Should be a good game and its gunna be packed to the rafters all tickets have been sold. Can't remember how many now but its in excess of 24,000. Plenty money for the footy team and the Town itself. Can't see us winning but you never know. UTT :D

Hope everyone else gets a good result and if you are going to watch your team enjoy the day and travel safely. :)

Stranger things have happened in the FA Cup than one of the big teams being knocked out by a Championship Club :)

Hope it goes well for you although, in the words of the terrible cliché, you're already winners, just by getting this far. As you say, it'll be good for the club's finances, as well. I'm not a massive fan of Citeh, so I hope you guys give them hell.

Thanks Yes we have excelled ourselves in getting so far. Long time since we got that far. We will try our best I'm sure of that :)
 
This seasons FA cup has been one sensation after another and the mighty have tumbled

Oh wow Millwall caused another upset. Oxford had hardlines they played very well.

Elsewhere Leeds drew Sheff Weds won.

Well done Carlisle and Tranmere both worthy winners :)

Emphatic win for the superwhites!
On way back from Southampton, logged on!
Could have won by more, good results for us and hudders and Carlisle.
The cup is certainly throwing up some shocks!
