Hi all,
First, I've been locked out of my account so all my other LCHF posts are in the ether however I was an active forum member and successful LC-er losing 3 stones in about a year. Eventually though I went astray for various health related reasons and regained most of the weight.
I started again about 4 weeks ago but have not reached the lovely energy stage. Instead I find I can walk the dog for about an hour but then feel quite suddenly breathless, wobbly, sweaty and sick. It has happened twice now and both times I was going uphill, but had been fine on previous hills on the walk.
I am on a ketogenic diet and have had urinary ketones for 2 weeks or so. I'm drinking coffee with butter and coconut oil once or twice a day and usually have a good few tablespoons of 'no added salt or sugar' peanut butter but I confess I'm a bit erratic otherwise. Sometimes I manage lunch and or dinner both being primarily fat and protein based, but I don't always eat both meals. I am too tired to cook!
Will I feel better if I just eat more? Is it possible my carb intake is too low as I probably usually have 0 to 20 each day? I'd really value some advice as although I don't feel as bad as I did in the first 2 weeks I am finding it difficult to exercise my dog (she needs about 2 hours daily).
