Weekly weigh in - Fridays

2 things you can do. One is to wear one of these things under your clothes. You can put a thin sleeveless T-shirt underneath to soak up the sweat and keep you from getting a rash

Other thing is a tens machine. That kind of machine, which is not a $5 number like the rubberish waist thing above, works with electrical contacts to stimulate the muscles in an area, and also the nerves to an extent but in a small way so the hiatal hernia will not be stressed. They are available on the internet but I would check with a physical therapist about which kind and even maybe have a session using one and learning how to use it before you buy something. In the process of learning which to buy myself.

By the way, the waist thing is an effective low cost "peoples' back brace but it is best to not sleep with one and to lie on your side propped up properly to let your back breathe at least sleeping hours.
Thank you, I've got one of those muscle stimulate things somewhere, I'd forgotten about that. I'll hunt it out! I already know there will be no weight loss for me this week. I've been very naughty since Wednesday (my weight day) as my kitchen has been out of action. But I am not bothered.

Was over 110 kg plus a few years ago, seem to have settled down now at 80 to 82 kg, with the ever so occasional dip below 80. An illness took me down to 75, but gradually returned to 80.
Would like to drop a wee bit more, find difficult juggling all those magic numbers on foodstuffs and time and preparation and emergency food and comfort snacks and...
My sugars which when diagnosed were floating 24, 25 etc, wobble now twixt 4 and 15, happy when in single figures and prefer nearer 6.
This morning was 9.5

0.4 kg off this week. Weighing in a day early as off for a long weekend and then an overnight trip for work. Hopefully will be able to stay on track while away.
Enjoy your weekend away deal with any hiccups when you get home, have a good time.K

77kg almost same as last week maybe even 0.5 up hmm I eat maybe too much , Yesterday my weight was 76.5 in the morning . I is really hard for me to keep calories down when excercising as much as I do, maybe both loosing weight and gaining muscles is too much at one time .. but I'll keep on with both anyway happy weekend to all of you

OMG I've lost again. Now 126.50kg, I checked twice. So...I was 129.90kg 2 weeks ago. With no lost last week.
I've lost 3.40kgs = 7.5lb.
I knew I had water retention but wow! It's starting to show on my face now. I'm delighted. :) :) :)

Wow it is going really well for you at the moment congratulations for your weightloss so fine ....

91.2 kg this morning. A surprising 1.4 kg down on the week and 42.8 kg down since 4 Sept 2016.

I have managed to get off a plateau and finally have crossed the 30 BMI boundary. So quite chuffed today.

Thank you freema.
I'm still mostly immobile. I also had to stop metformin. So insulin only.
All it can be is the painkiller Tramadol but everyone says weight loss not a side affect.
Maybe my body isn't producing adrenalin as much due to less pain. Also they are suppose to give constipation but I feel just right, for me.
I will be bring it up with Endocrologist, when I see him.
Maybe I've only ever been over-weight due to adrenalin, off and on. When being tested I go into white coat syndrome which settles my over production, at that time?
I'm taking 3 seperate insulin injections, all 20-30mins before food. Divided into 2 seperate inj sites. Absorption may have been an issue?
Furthermore, no meal after 6pm! Mostly.

wow a very great loss congratulations

Well done everyone. I am letting the side down. 79.6 arrgh. Not been feeling so well this week either. I have been going to diet doctor for recipes since January and felt great. I fell off the straight and narrow a week ago with chilli beans for friends, one of whom is a vegan. I have also had lentils and 4 lidl rolls with cheese. I thought I was exercising enough to cope but it is mainly gardening as a volunteer and on the lottie. I can only walk a mile before my hip fails so it can be a bit difficult. Back to diet doctor. Guess treats on Sunday and my birthday next week are out. Will just have to suffer and eat steak . Putting candles in boiled rhubarb will be interesting. Lol.

Based on my own experience, weight loss is not a linear process. Recently my weight had seemed to plateau for a few weeks. However, this week I dropped 1.4 kg eventhough my exercise and diet were essentially the same.

Interesting that you you are eating more due to exercise. Personally, I find that with LCHF my hunger has reduced considerably, eventhough I walk over 100km a week.
