Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

20.05.2017 -- 08.00am - reading 7.7 - level just refuses to go lower no matter how hard I try and beginning to wonder if Hay Fever has an impact - if anyone knows the answer please reply.
When I had the flu earlier this year my readings went crazy even tho I wasn't eating I had FBG of 11 and 12

Allergies cause inflammation in the body so, yes it's possible your hayfever is to blame for the higher BG levels

Thank you to all who replied to my earlier post, I am unable to take any medication to help with the hay fever due to other health issues, so I live with feeling a little under the weather for a few months every year but as I am trying so hard to get my readings down into a better zone it is disappointing not to be able to get the results I would like to be seeing.
I will just continue to keep doing my best and hopefully once the hay fever symptoms go so the reading will improve.

Oh dear! Hope it's fixed now? But GREAT fbg today Kathleen

It's not anything I've done put it down to panic, and not having any carbs for my evening meal yesterday.
Yes we got a plumber but found it was the header tank overflowing, has a previous workman a few years ago had cut off the overflow pipe where the water would have gone outside instead of through my ceiling and lights.
Wished we could get it out there when these jobs worths do things like this, but this company now out of business, surprise! Thanks for your concern .Kathleen
