Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.7 - back to work after the bank holiday, but going in a little late as I've got a blood test at 8. Trying the GP surgery this time as had lastly done at local walk in centre as they made a complete hash of it and the bruising has only just gone after 2 weeks.
Blood test at gp for me too then off to pick hopefully last batch of mixed Insulin. Hoping end of an era.
Wishing you no bruising hun!

Are you comining off insulin or going to basal/bolus? @ickihun
Basal/bolus but told I can skip meals on it due to being severely Insulin resistant. It will need bedding in first thou. Maybe if I'll need insulin after bariatric surgery it will only be basal! Metformin is too hit and miss to rely on but keeps my pcos in remission.
I'm really looking forward to new fbgs after the 12th. They may be a bit rocky at first but looking forward to less food.
