5,6 this morning at 6,40 am. I have been up since about 3:00 taking endless trips to the toilet. Not the best way to spend the night.
If I am honest I am also a bit worried about the gastroscopy and colonoscopy I have coming up at 9:00 AM. Not so much about the procedures themselves, I expect I will be out and so will not know too much about them, as about the result. I know there is no point worrying about something I can do nothing about or that might never materialise but I don't seem to be able to help myself.
At least the whole thing will soon be over.
And looking at the bright side of things, it's Friday.
Hi Kentoldlady1 your doing so well congratulations. KForgot why I came on here!!! 5.6 today.

Agree -- olives are probably a bit of an acquired taste, but have started to enjoy the combination of salty and bitter. I tend to prefer green over black olives, as black olives sometimes can be a bit mushy.
What are your favorite go-to foods when you go out?
7.5 today
Ate cake yesterday. Reaction to pneumonia jab making me feel really unwell, on antibiotics now. Sure my FBG will calm down when my body is back to normal and not fighting this infection.
Top of the proverbial food chain has got to be a starter of Indian mixed kebab and a main course chicken tikka with a phaal sauce and a tandoori roti. Alternative chicken or lamb naga. Chicken Ceylon. Lamb Kleftiko or beef stifado if eating Greek. There is also a South African restaurant not too far from me and they do a dish called bunny beef chow. It is absolutely delicious but quite carbohydrate heavy. Usually means a bicycle pump filled with insulin after eating there.
Good luck.![]()

No need for a sad emoji. There ain't nothing much wrong with 8.5 for a type 1 taking insulin. Once again it's work in progress![]()
Just received my results, I have a stomach infection by a bacterium called Helicobacterium Pylori. Two weeks antibiotics and I should be fine.
Feeling very relieved.
