What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Does she understand that her decision is making you unwell? When my mum began her crazy dementia journey she flatly refused to accept any help (still does, but now she has to have it). I was spending hours travelling and looking after her. It can make you very ill. In the end I just couldn't do it anymore.

Take care of yourself. Carer burnout is very common but really hard to see in yourself. Do you have help?

Thanks for your kind advice Granny_grump. You are very wise and have hit the nail on the head about my mum. She is afraid that if she seeks help from any outside agencies she would have to move out of her home of 61 years and couldn't cope with that. She just wants to stay as she is and for me to do everything for her which I do every day but there are some things which are beyond my ability. When I suggest seeking help she goes into denial that she needs it and into panic mode. I don't have any family/ friends who are able to help but my hubby is very supportive. Thanks again.:)

Not seen him for a few days but he was having a problem with his BG levels last time he posted, nothing too high but higher than his usual. He may be taking a break until he gets back control!K
