Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Thanks. Only my second cold since diagnosis and didn’t see a noticeable rise then either. .
Interesting as I always know when I might be getting ill or over tired by bs rise. I did read early on a mother of a young type 1 say that she always knew in advance when her daughter was getting ill by bs rise.
Edit: By early on I mean early in my search for information about diabetes, before I came on this forum with its oracles.

5.1 this morning. Pleased with that after eating trifle at lunch and finding out the lamb had pomegranate molasses in the marinade. I did find out that I like za'atar.
I do find that trifle and panna cotta of the mainstream desserts have the lowest carbs and keep my bs levels stable. Don't know if that is useful for anyone else?
Edit: It was my son who cooked the meal. 4 generations gathered. Also presented my mother in law with a photo of both her great grandsons together which delighted her.

Lucky you, nice to have your son cooking a meal for you, and 4 generations gathering is a real blessing.
