What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

another day with high number 6.2 at 8:50 slept 11 hours this night... so no excuse ... did go directly to fitness burned 2000 calories on an empty stomach, had 200 grams of roasted chicken for lunch and a banana so hope tomorrow will be lower.. wonderful sunshine here in DK..

Hi Freema. Sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your fbs scores. Unless I'm mistaken 6.2 is in range . I would certainly be celebrating if I could get mine down to the 6's. So well done! P.S Please send us some of your sunshine. Pouring down with rain all day here. Best wishes. :)

thanks for your encouragement , I am sure you´ll learn to get lower numbers too.. <3 hope sunshine will find you tomorrow too

Only the blood test yesterday K...should get the results today or tomorrow...good to feel the pressure is off for a little while...celebrated that with a vanilla cream slice...oops...often in the 4s during the day...feel reasonably comfortable thereabouts...shattered this morning...been a busy week where bizarrely where I seem to have got very little done (if that makes sense)...nearly the weekend...can't wait...off out on Saturday .
 
Ooooh, a vanilla cream slice! Can you feel the envy pouring out of me.....

5.7 at 6.45 a.m. And I'd so like to stay home this morning. It's odd because I really like the people I work with, I enjoy the work (I am the bookkeeper for the Accounts department in the office) and the boss is a great guy. But sometimes I wake up and everything in me says "roll over, go back to sleep". But I won that battle this morning, and will leave in half an hour. Sometimes I really resent being a responsible adult!

K it was delicious...enjoyed every mouthful...especially the cream that oozed out as I bit into it...for some reason my hard work isn't usually borne out by my HbA1c results...but confident my management overall is the best I can get it (for me)...so philosophical about that...working as hard I can...that's the best I/we can do.
 
Just tested.....9.0!! ......not sure what is going on......took a tablet to help me sleep through the HGV protests and slept like a baby until a horn was tooted at 6.30am,so can't blame lack of sleep.Off to the dreaded dentist later today,have a good day everyone:)

I'm not sure I've ever been a responsible adult WuTwo...the Vanilla slice was my 'reward' for working hard...I savoured every morsel...yesterday I was a shameless diabetic...got home after my blood test...thought sod it...having cake...actually bought two Vanilla Slices...ate one...couldn't eat the second...so had some millionaire shortbread instead:oops:

I blame the dentist for the rise Glenmac...it's always their fault:)...good luck.
 
Morning to all you nice people. It's nippy!! Happy this morning, 5.8. I thought it would have been higher but I like the numbers because they show you where you got to head for during the day. Wrap up warm.
