Morning...HbA1c results are in...46mmols...only a slight improvement on my last one by 3mmols...my meter reading average for the last ninety days was 5.3...for the last 30 days it showed 5.1...I've been using the meter given to me by my surgery for six months...comparing that with the one I used previously (codefree)...interestingly the codefree average matches the HbA1c results...more than a 10% variation between meters... will be reverting back to the codefree for now...overall it's down...so at least that's positive

5.2 at 6.30 a.m.

Tested at 2.30 a.m. just because I happened to be awake - a happy 4.9, so the basal is doing its job and there isn't too big of a variation overnight.

I have my retinal eye scan this p.m. I shall be glad to get it done but our local eye department is under so much pressure - far too few staff for so very many patients. I shall take a toy with me to keep myself amused. (OK, some stitching....)

i get 3 metformin a day and about 500 gram carb a day, but i don not know my glucose 2 hour after meal today just 4.7

500 grams of carbs a day that is crazy , can’t you get that down to around the half of it ? Then you would probably not need to take metformin
