struggling big time

Hey Ally1, will be thinking about you and waiting to see what happens with your appointment. You have been through the wringer with this one....hope you have a positive, helpful time with your DN and that she will actually listen to what you have to say. Trust that this hasn't been too off putting with the biploar.....you sound like you have been handling things amazingly well. Cudos to you for persisiting.....Blessings/L
Thank you

Thank you. You are right but doubt she will do anything
Write down what you want to ask her. Make it obvious you are ready to repeat her reply, if need be.
I take a note pad and pen in with consultants, now.
I'm sure she will enjoy your appointment if reviewing your diabetic hba1c with med needs.
The last thing she will want is a more complicated management programme for you.
Emphasis your concerns of middle of the range bgs have on your neuropathy. Ask her twice, if you have too.

I always take my notes with me for any similar appointment, and I don't leave until they have all been covered. I am currently compiling a list of questions and topics for a GP appointment tomorrow (not diabetes related)

Our Dr surgery computers all down. All GPs in Sunderland. Not sure if other areas too. Hoping just today.

Ps. Dn should have access to meds leaflets too and print offs of relating conditions. For patient info.

Go girl! :)

Ps. I have to return to my GP Tuesday and ask for more pregabalin which A&E started me on. Gulp!
I can feel my baby toe again. :)
Ask if this med any use to your nerve pain?

Thank you. Am nervous going but no idea why.
At the moment my gp is reluctant to give me painkillers because it will mean changing my bipolar meds. Apparently they inter react with painkillers

Remember what I said about imaging them naked. We're all the same underneath hun. ;)

Just work through your list and try not to let them sidetrack you.
