I found this good information where they suggest us to eat more foods that are rich in chromium and magnesium to take care of our condition. http://www.tramadolonlinehcl.com/pr...ful-measures-to-manage-diabetes-effortlessly/

When I googled for chromium-rich foods, wine popped up as a result. So, can I drink wine without worries?! I mean i don't want to make my diabetes worse but I love drinking wine(occasionally though)

Red wine is good for our hearts. That is a recognised fact. It is full of antioxidants. It is also OK for blood sugar levels having hardly any carbs/sugar in it. The only problem is, it has calories - so if you are trying to lose weight you need to be careful.

I haven't gained any extra weight yet. Well, It's been just 3 weeks and I used to workout for 5 days a week from last 3 years. So, I'm pretty much fit right now, although I've lost some weight, but the condition isn't that bad yet.

I can not quite believe some of the pedantic responses here. Thanks diabetes forum, but no thanks!

Hello, new to the boards, as in posting, been reading since diagnosed beginning of the year. I have been in search of knowledge since the diagnosis. My hat is off to you folks, trust me, I have reviewed several different boards trying to figure this out. The USA blogs contain plenty of whiners who would spend an enormous amount of time whining about the loss of their prior eating program. Glitter, you need to get a grip, do your due diligence, and make the changes for your health or stay on track to a future of diabetic related issues.
