8.4 today. Would an HbA1c reading of 69 usually be handled by diet and exercise alone? I was diagnosed back in 2014 at a lower level but have never been on medication.

Got hba1c results yesterday down to 43

Hi @peony50 I’d reiterate mo53 s question.
I had similar A1c on diagnosis but I was put on metformin, not really sure how much effect that has.
