Type 2 Life

Good evening, Type 2 Life Forum members and my very good friends,

I just found out from the musculoskeletal assessment clinic that i attended today that i have a condition called chronic mechanical back pain (it's on google) and i saw my gp too who said my x-ray results were normal, very good, and observed i have got low folic acid although my sodium levels have now stabilized. my care coordinator has been off sick for the past couple of days so this will hold up my move to assisted-liviong accommodation until she gets better and is back at work. it didn't help my stress levels last saturday when my friend called lee asked me for my last purple twenty pound note leaving me short and bereft.

He is out of order @JohnnyBaker87. If you can break up large notes into coins so if you do want to give to charity it's in preportion with what you have available, in future maybe? No decent friend would do that, you know that, dont you?
Hopefully soon this will all be just an old nightmare you can sooth away. Your future will be sooo happy, it won't matter these hiccups.

Over the weekend I'll get a chance to go back to bed at this time of morning but not worth going back now, just for an hour. Older son wants waking then. I think he's left a bit homework til last. Humf!

Finally after weeks and weeks of no sleep . Ron’s body has given in .

Only hope this doesn’t turn into another set back.
Luckily he has you looking out for him. I know how thorough you are.
I understand why you worry too. Especially after all his health changes the past year or so.
Are you just going to monitor his bloods whilst you tell him what you're doing? Is he not very conscious or is he in genuine sleep?
Is he sleeping differently to his normal? What was his last meter reading?

I’m just going to let him sleep. Best medicine I believe . He’s in proper sleep . I’ve found that proper sleep lowers his blood sugars where as just laying there awake his bgs end up quite high. This morning it was 11.3 yesterday morning 14. Where he’s not been sleeping they’ve ranged from 10 upwards . Mind you I don’t think all the other meds and extreme pain are helping . He’s got gp appointment on the 17th. Today he’s applied to see a physio, we just have to wait now and see if that happens.

The extreme pain is the biggest part which needs help with, exercise of any form may help with that. If it's the right exercise.
I need to chase up my next MSK appointment as the last one didn't happen as he was off sick so had to be cancelled but I'm hoping my op date is imminent and MSK will be delayed a little for me to recoup some strength first. I will chase up after next week's weigh-in at hospital.

I’m hoping that seeing a physio they can help with the pain and exercise but most of all the muscle weakness.

That's what I've done, @ickihun, my lovely friend. I've broken down a purple twenty pound note that Holistic Community Care brought for me last night into five pound notes and one pound coins. I'm positive about the future. My care coordinator is working really hard to resolve my problems, thanks to her and Jesus. God bless you, dear @ickihun, well done in all that you've achieved on your bariatric surgery preparations. I'm so proud of you.

Me of you too. We shouldn't have to wait much longer.. now.

I weighed in at doctors at 131.90kgs so smashed my revised weight loss target for bariatric op. :) :) :)

Any news @JohnnyBaker87?
Good Afternoon, @ickihun, my good, faithful, loyal friend, I'm so sorry I haven't logged on to DCUK in the past aeons of time. I've been battling the symptomotology of low folic acid and low Vitamin B12, but I have been prescribed medication for it and have taken 3 days worth, in the mornings, over the last 3 days. I still said my prayers with the prayer candles for yourself and your lovely family, @Guzzler, @eldergarth, @tina_marie and @heh as well as @13lizanne and Debra Sue. I haven't heard a thing about my new supported housing, as far as I'm aware the referral is still ongoing. It's really good news to hear about your weight loss achievements which is a real answer to prayer for which I thank Jesus wholeheartedly and in fervent humility.

Prayers to you in abundance, @ickihun, for your impending bariatric surgery. I love you and uphold Mr Ickihun and your two beautiful children in my prayers.

Lots of Love, from @JohnnyBaker87, a Sufferer of moderate to severe Asperger Syndrome, Adult ADHD and Mild Dyscalculia xXx.
