What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Forced out of bed by the pains in both legs and forgetting that the clocks were reset tested bloods thinking its 4 AM not 3 AM and got a devastating for me 7.3. May return to bed when pain subsides any way good middle of the night all and hope you have a good Sunday.

Oh hope you’ll feel better soon

Good morning all, a hefty 5.9 for me, maybe it was the wine, no dancing or chandeliers (do you live in a palace @Bubbsie). Up early due to clocks and memory, going to get the fireplace in order and get a blaze going
Made me laugh trick...a palace perish the thought it's a little cottage which is still a work in progress even after five years here...but...I have a thing for lighting...that was the first thing I did when we arrived got some decent light up...besides anything with more than three 'arms' is a chandelier in my book;)

Morning all 5.5 for me today.
Had to get up earlier than usual to make sure daughter got up for work - she has a new phone and didn’t trust it to know about the clocks changing.
I’m happy though, sitting in the warm with a cup of tea watching red kites wheeling in the sky outside.
@JohnEGreen I hope you feel ok now and your legs are less painful.
@Bubbsie sounds like a great night and well worth the slight raise in fbg

Morning all
4.3 fbgs this morning
@JohnEGreen hope you have a better day after your bad night.
My youngest is walking the North Worcestershire way this weekend @HarrisonK just south of brum and when up in the clent hills yesterday morning the snow was not only falling but settling! Camping at clent camping on Friday night wasn’t how he’d imagined in October!
They decided last night to have a pick up to ours for hot meal and warm bed and after breakfast I’m taking them back to Arley where they got to at 6 yesterday evening! To finish the walk they’d planned. did someone say we’d have an Indian Summer - I’m still waiting for it!!
Stay warm all

Just down the road from me although I'm at a slightly lower altitude. Clent has some excellent walks but as it dropped to -2 last night I'd leave the camping bit.

Ouch ouch! poor you. Hope you are feeling better now. Pouring with rain here, nice day to stay in and read a book and have a snooze. I expect you will need one after such a disturbed night.

9.1 this morning...meh! At least it's in single figures, I suppose. Probably that lovely mashed potato last night, oh yes, and the apple! Going to be virtuous today and have curry with cauliflower rice tonight, it's very nice with a stock cube in it. Pouring with rain here, so going to get on with the little book I am writing. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all. 5.6 today. A cool -4 degC , or else i need a new battery for my weather station. Long walk in the sun for me.
@JohnEGreen and @philchap1 hope you are improved now. @Goacher55 hope there is no lasting injury.
Van refuses to start, I suspect the heater plugs have been failing, one by one. Was getting by in the milder weather....now no chance. Hope i can get it started to get it to the mechanic.
Hope you are well or recovering, hope you BG gives you an easy time. Have a great Sunday.

Morning All from wet and windy Kent. A very satisfactory 5.6 at 07.30 which considering it is really 08.30 is great for me. Dog walking awaits and a shop at Sainsburys. Hope all of you unwell get better. Enjoy Sunday, stay well, stay safe.

Aww Goacher I’m sorry to read this
I hope there’s no lasting damage
Take care
@Cumberland 27 years since 2 strokes falling has alas been quite a big part of my life. I have RICE with emphasis on the R and I’m able to hobble from a to b now. Luckily only my foot and thank fully not my ankle. No bruising and very little swelling. I’m just a liability :)
