Yesterday (19/11).
0640: Mug of coffee with double cream and sweetener.
1600: Mug of tea, some mixed nuts.
1815: Mince, two small steamed potatoes, broccoli and sweetcorn. Slice of lemon tart with double cream.
9 (!!!) dark liqueur chocolates - I blame availability at this time of year.

Fbg today is 6.7. Not too bad, I was expecting higher after the chocs last night.

Yesterday (20/11).
0615: Mug of coffee with double cream and sweetener.
1600: mug of tea, slices of chorizo.
1815: Mince, steamed new potatoes (2), broccoli and sweetcorn. 3 dark liqueur chocolates.

Fbg today 7.5. I think that's due to DP as I was at 5.7 two hours after eavening meal.

1910: Chicken & sweetcorn soup. One onion bhaji, one small veg samosa. Slice of lemon tart with double cream.
2015: 9 (!) dark liqueur chocolates - still at least I haven't started on the Stollen or mince pies (yet).

Today was a "treat" day. Ate some sour keys candy from Bulk Barn.

BG: 5 mmol. Pleasantly surprised, given the candy.

Dinner: Lamb roast with potatoes, and a slice of cheesecake for dessert.

Saw my Diabetes nurse this morning to follow up on my blood test results from last week. Because my HbA1c was 65, she is putting me on Metformin once a day for 3 months initially, then review. My target HbA1c is 41, and when I reach that I can come off Metformin. :bigtears:
