Paul Scholes is a part owner of Salford city fc!
There is a chance that the two clubs, Oldham and Salford could be in league two next season, surely a conflict of interest?

Don't understand the appointment, surely if he wanted to become a manager, there was a vacancy for the manager at the start of the season at Salford! Baffling, but that is footie!

Yep RIP Gordon a true legend in his own right.

I remember him from 1966 and 1970 world cups, a true sportsman in every way.

SBS television had a short tribute to him on the world news, including that magic save against Pele.

RIP Gordon Banks.
