What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I've been googling stuff about west coast USA for a while now trying to organize stuff so San Fran is just a quicker way of getting it down on a keyboard, I'll try Frisco though maybe that'll do the same :). After last nights meeting to book flights there was a major change, the ladies want to fly in to Vegas and have a couple of days there, went to bed head spinning ,nothing booked. Hey ho.

Check out the Levi's stadium in SF.........home of the 49ers and hosts of the next Superbowl........hugely impressive

Morning all from a cold and wet Northeast, a 5.6 greeted me from the meter of wonder, not bad considering I trained last night and ran a 25% Temp Basal. So happy with that, I got my new 640g Pump yesterday and a new tester that links to my pump. It now means I have 8 meters of wonder!!

Take care everyone.

Funny for having the sheer gall to do that
(Gallows humour does get us over so many impossible humps in lifes convoluted journey)

Hugs for the loss ...
High five for the guts to say " F*** it..."

BIG RESPECT..XXXX

It put up a great 3 month fight against staph aureus/osteomylitis infection especially when you consider I was only diagnosed T2 on the morning of the Op

No FBG this morning. Still wearing the **** BP cuff and the battery pack. Auto tested every half hour up to 10.00 pm then on the hour through the night. Next due in 5 mins. Off my blue/black arm in a couple of hours, at the Clinic. Then maybe a shower and some zzzzzzzzzzz.

Morning all. I've had a week end of no testing visiting Liverpool for the music 6 Festival. It was good to go to a live gig again .... I've forgotten how loud music can be and how sticky the floor can get. Liverpool is from my perspective a fab city.

4.9 on my meter this morning

Hi all,

4.2 to these morning.

My other news:
I lost another 1.7 lb (0.7 kg) this week (edited to correct, typed in last week's weight loss by mistake).

This gives me a total loss of 100.0 lbs (45.3 kg - 7 stone 2)

I am no longer obese for the first time in many years, now I'm in the overweight category. I weigh less than my wedding and now fit in a size 14 to get into a wedding dress of size16, 33 years ago). I started at size 24 or 22. I've lost 13 1/2" off my waist.

Here's my latest before and after.

You look incredible! You feel incredible. AND YOU ARE INCREDIBLE. Well done. Love your latest PIc. The image of happy and healthy.

Morning All. A disappointing 6.5 this morning. Went out to lunch yesterday two courses and chose best I could. Had a two hour drive home and my BG was 5.3 so had rollitos later and 4 squares 90% choc. Was in bed at 9pm. Enough about me.
@DJC3 happy birthday have a great day with your family.
@Traceymac23 sorry to hear you are still in hospital. Good FBG you must have someone bring healthy food in! Get well soon.
Have a great Tuesday everyone. Stay well, safe and wrap up warm.

Morning all. 8.6 at 8.30 am. I was really hoping for a lower score this morning to quote to the nurse at my diabetic review appointment. I'm going to discuss delaying my increase of medication for a further 3 months citing my recent pain and stress as the cause of my HbA1c increase. Have the best day you can today. :)
