I LOVE that shot of 'Henry' with his tube going towards that silver flower stand lol
It's a candle stand with the Paschal candle on it for Eastertide.

How many great photos are lost because people clone out stuff like that? Far too many so called photographers ruin a great shot by over post-processing it... too much saturation, overexposure, bad cropping etc. BAD 'Shop'ping' PhotoShop has a lot to answer for. Having said that I do love HDR. I take lots of photos inside Churches and dimly lit buildings or places with dark shadows and bright sun. The stain glass window you took is a great example of the window being overexposed to give the correct exposure inside the church. HDR would give all the colour of the brightly lit widow showing all its wonderful glass colours and the contrasting stone work in the bottom right shot where it is underexposed, to allow the camera to catch the window.
It needs three or four separate shots taken on a tripod, so as not to move the camera, taken at different exposures then combined in to one shot. I will post a couple of examples later.
@gennepher , I have found that a careful handwash, followed by well-dried fingers, aids results. If you have a rogue reading then repeat immediately, same lancet but fresh test strip and BG sample.4:30 am this morning as Dawn was streaking her red across the sky, and I am greeted with a 11.1
Why a higher reading?
I did eat out and ate some lovely home made toasted bread...
When I came home there was some cheese coleslaw that needed eating up, so I did have a larger portion than usual...
Also yesterday I didn't have any coffee with cream during the day. I was out all day and only like coffee with cream the way I make it, the strength I make it, and with just one particular double cream I use, and with cinnamon on...
So those were the differences with food.
Also I have just opened a new container of testing strips...
Also 4:30 is a tiny bit earlier for taking the reading...but Dawn woke me up...
It might be none of those things, but they are the only ones I can pinpoint.
We shall find out what the dawn reading is tomorrow....

Gen You did a great job. I have not come across Snapseed.I only have a phone or a tablet to take photos with. I don’t have a camera. So, I am restricted by the features on those two devices. I took several photos of that window holding the tablet at different angles to try and ‘fool’ the lens, but that was best I could get. I put the collages in Snapseed to use the Pop look feature which can bring out a little more detail.
I will look for your examples.

I like you only like coffee with double cream. If I am out and about I try to go to 'Costa' and have a black coffee and ask for lots of double cream.4:30 am this morning as Dawn was streaking her red across the sky, and I am greeted with a 11.1

Coffee out can really spike you more than the finger pricker!
A minor set back at 11.1 Gen. Drink up, and enjoy your day!

Sounds like a great plan trick... Have a great weekendGood morning folks, 5.6 on the testing dice, nice to see a few early risers on here. Off in to work today, I volunteered for today and Monday too with the extra funds going toward our American adventure in August.
Have a lovely one folks it certainly looks like its going to be nice here.
Have a great time dunelm xGood morning everyone - my fourth time of waking today.
The wheel of wonderment and punishment has been on the ball today:
Up at 0300 - 4.1
Up at 0510 - 5.2
Up at 0600 - 4.4
Finally gave in and got up at 0630, seemingly so did my liver - 6.2
Little Miss Pamplemousse and her twin sisters Chaos and Mayhem arrived last night with mum and dad - they are sat at the table eating a variety of foodstuffs while I slurp my tea.
Our other offsprings, together with their offsprings are due here just after 0800 and we will attempt the convoy run to Edinburgh airport to catch the magic flying dirigible to Lands-are-grotty for a week of excitement, lounging round a pool wearing sunglasses, carrying margaritas and smearing skin with SPF50 every 15 minutes.
Luckily we will have a couple of mini-vans in order to seek out the miradors so all is not lost - and I have packed a book.
Have a fantastic time to always remember. Talking about remember mate think of us left here freezeing without a leader! (Not that I EVER talk about poly ticks)Good morning everyone - my fourth time of waking today.
