Yeah but we yap about everything here - socks, breakfast, end of the world - you name it, it's up for yapping about! Now and again - diabetes crops up, but friends, family, trips, happinesses - oh yes!

Hi Allison........consider yourself invited to manchester........as @Knikki said -- i started a topic for the crewe meet on here but as we know the forum is such a big and busy place topics can get a bit lost in the shuffle -- and i have also learned a valuable lesson -- next meet i will just pop a reply on the type 1 stars are us topic as it sees loads of traffic !!
 
@Alison54321 I have a memory of the thread being mentioned here as well, but at the speed this thread can move I often find I can miss stuff if I've missed a day or so and skim-reading to catch up!

Don't worry, I haven't been around for a while so I wouldn't have known about it anyway. It's just this is a good thread for bringing things together related to T1D, though as @Japes says, it does move very fast, so you might have to mention it more than one.
 
Morning peeps, hope you have a great Sunday, it's a nice quite one today, having family round yesterday with baby granddaughter too, how can someone so small make so much mess, lol bless her <3 even my son was out with the dustpan and brush as there was trail of fairy cake breadcrumbs from the lounge through to the hall, Hansel and Gretel came to mind :D ( soon cleared up though) <3

Manchester is my birth place, what part are you meeting up in, but I won't be able to get there.

Brilliant @himtoo it's in the diary. @Knikki said the Crewe one was posted in Discussions and I must admit it's not a forum I look at much. I always associate Crewe with changing trains being born in Chester. Manchester is my old uni ground and I've got mates there so that'd be fun. Thanks
 
@SueJB - you could make it into a mini-break and hang out with old mates as well :)

It could be temporarily arranged. However, I’m more of a falling over her welly boots and forgetting what I was supposed to be doing kind of myth.
