Very nice, one of our horses was named Prince, a Welsh Cob lovely fellow and very trustworthy. We have done very well with all of our horses except the one who was a bully, we discovered he had been treated badly and maybe we could have sorted him but we ride for pleasure and felt he needed someone who enjoyed such challenges. Mrs MC still rides, I as you can see choose Mountain Biking now.

When I was younger my dream horse was a 17h dapple-grey Irish Hunter. Then one year in my early 30s I had the mixed pleasure of grooming a dapple-grey hunter who, if he wasn't quite 17h, was at least 16.2 or .3. I realized that if I ever took such a horse out on a hack I would need to take along a coiled rope ladder, and that was the moment I converted to dreaming of a Hobbit pony, or a cob (one without much feather!).

Me too. I’ve seen them half a dozen times, including the first time they ever played ‘I’m not in love’ (before it was released) I still remember it vividly it made my scalp tingle.

Tried again for sleep but half hour later gave up.
So a coffee now and starting the day. A tidy up, then when it’s light, the garden...

Got me cat sitting duties.. Love it.
But not brought testing kit, so no reads for last two days.. But average has been 5.7 to 6.0.. So I'm gonna guess a 6.2...(yep as suspected, her friend left me a few beer in the fridge... And they've now gone missing...:rolleyes::bag: )

Awoke to Foxes "screeching".. about 440 am

Cats not in room, so a tad worried, downstairs to check garden.. Couldn't see out, too dark.. So put on light.. And they're both sitting there on dining chairs... With that "WHAT?".. Look cats have, on there faces..

Then apparently it was breakfast time, according to them
So cats fed n watered. Tea for me.
So all good.

Hugs for those who can't sleep or are up to early... Day off for me, so back to bed.

Morning diabetes massive. @jjraak do try to enjoy Croydon - in 10 years I never could (except for the Sunday cricket). Nice song but obviously my fave is Dreadlock holiday - Wall street hussle seems where we are still at though @DJC3 is the muddy 5k today? best wishes and don't be too proud/stubborn to accept help or stop but think of the amazing journey that has taken you this far. It would take a spin doctor of epic skill and truth bending to sell an fbg of 5.9 as anything other than a failure. Currently need to use all my bandwith to deal with other health problems and moving house but this needs sorting next. 4 year average for bg not suggestive of success unless I was after big weight loss, waking far too early and losing interest in eating meat -which was not the aim. @karen8967 good start and smiley.

4.8 this morning, but feeling better today. Yesterday evening I got a phone call from my paternal grandparents, they are down my way and would I like to meat for lunch? Of course I said yes and we quickly arranged a pub local to me for the meet-up. So at 9pm last night I hurriedly made a quick bracelet to give my Nan.

5.6 this morning - which isn't bad as I spent much of the day chained to the computer.

Yesterday husband picked up my new car - or more accurately my newer car. I know it is really silly but I hate changing my car because I get very scared of driving a different car. It's almost a phobia.

Today I am driving it to work. Husband didn't go out last night with his mates for a drink so he can come in with me this morning and take over the driving if I just can't do it. Silly isn't it to be scared of driving a new car.
