yeah but iv'e been a landscaper and mechanic injecting through muddy or oily trousers or overalls and i barely ever get ill apart from the beginning of this year and ass i said i'm a bit shy dropping my draws just to inject is a no go. but then again after all that happened when i was in hospital i'm not as shy as i used to be

Hmmm....would be lifting my shirt and injecting into stomach in that case. In 49 years I have yet to go thru clothing

I still use a BG meter to compliment the CGM set up I'm using now. Accu-Chek Mobile.

Most of us do. Certainly recomended to not just rely on the sensor..
Contour next link to go with my pump. Also have a Libre/MM set up BUT still test my blood 4 times a day OR when I think my libre/MM is giving duff readings
ah ok i'm using the caresens dual and it's the best iv'e ever used it tests BG and and ketones no more peeing on sticks it kinda makes me want to keep checking my BG for a huge change

Some good news. I now have a permanent position as a School Escort, I start on Monday and it's the route I covered up until January 7th, so tomorrow will be my last day as a casual, but I do have a run in the afternoon  As a casual, they are obliged to honour any appointments that may coincide with the school run, so I need to email these or phone these through to the school transport team very soon.

Great news Robinredbreast.

Eat one of your lift tabs, then check again..
You may have dropped lower, but that's the lag of the meter. (up to 20 minutes prior.) if you have dropped further? take a biscuit. then check in another 20/30.mins. Thats pending on what fast acting insulin is on board. for me with a basel low, 5g lifts it

@chris85 type 1 what did you decide to do and what number are you at now? For what it's worth I would have said ride it out but keep testing if you had a significant amount of IOB and were likely to carry on doing down.
