What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Morning...working this afternoon off to sunny Essex via the M11...hoping I can get on the way home before rush hour starts...sunny but freezing here...back on my usual diet as extra low carb didn't work for me...taking a while to settle back into slightly higher carbs yesterday woke to a 5.8...this morning a 6.6

All looking good for the big move and hope that Julie is transported in style. That Timothy bloke, banging on about giving up tea and moving on to koffy for a while
I think Timothy was getting his this is how we roll instructions from Paul. If'n J's neck allows enough movement she will drive her own Popemobile into Suffolk, the chasps will drive most of our possessions and I will drive myself and the family cricket trophies. :angelic:

Good Morning and a 5.6 for me today. Jack got busy last night, a good covering of ice here and a heavy mist rolling down the hill.
Spartacus, 103, not a bad innings
have we gone through another if @OldButBold quantum time shifts to 71BC?

Putting garden back together today, then music rehearsals.

Face your day with a spring in your step and a twinkle in your eye, do everything well.

Morning All. 5.9 today just hanging in there, just.
@ianpspurs amazing fbg after bun and chips and amazing after readings. Good luck to you both with everything today and tomorrow when your new adventure begins. @HarryBeau BG is so mysterious there is no knowing whats best but hope you settle into a style that suits you. @Muddy Cyclist I will never have enough of the art that you and @gennepher produce but I understand it is a tall order daily so great if you just treat us whenever you can.
I note there is a British Type 1 on board the ship in quarantine for CV off Japan. That must be very concerning not knowing when food will be delivered to the cabin, and how long his insulin will last. He seemed very stoic though.
Well Thursday already, enjoy it if you can. Stay well, stay safe.

Thanks @PenguinMum
But when I make a challenge to myself like this I stick to it come what may.
I saw that guy on you tube you speak of.
I was worried for him because of the food situation with having diabetes.

Thanks. You more than hang in there. I've said it before but it bears repeating. Your posts reveal and amazing mum, wife, friend and caring lady. The readings add to my feelings that so much of this LC/Keto is just snake oil. I need to check Julie hasn't lost her label. Think it best I email the chasps a photo of her with 72 point text: don't pack this:angelic:

Fbg 7.7

Popeye is getting the hang of these new routines. He is being very good.

Have a good day
Have fun
Take care
Wow, very bold @gennepher I can imagine this as a design for a theatre set, I can see a troop of ballet dancers gracefully dancing down the avenue of trees. Did you use the Fan Brush for the texture in the leaves and blossom?

That's the place. I taught at Downham Market High School for a while. Those villages are picturesque, tranquil and Norfolky. I guess when we move into Suffolk we may be sworn enemies of Norfolk. @Krystyna23040 excepted.
If course you know that all people who live in Suffolk have to have a visa to visit Norfolk. If you like I will put in a good word for you when you apply.

Wonder of wonders, earlier dinner worked
6.55am FBG 5.2.
Feel so much better. Taking control, hopefully. Chat with MrSlim re impact of eating late.
So back to the kitchen decorating. Can't leave it till later or we will be having whole house to do all at once.
Still working on the logs and clearing trees from the garden. On to the last one now. Might be done in a week. Meanwhile MrSlim is putting in a new dormer window, so big hole in the roof and need for dry weather.

I will drive myself and the family cricket trophies. :angelic:
On the ball as usual @ianpspurs Creased me up thinking of you labelling your good lady, stepping over boundaries mind you a wicket thing to do, you be careful she doesn't knock you for six. Drive careful with those cricket trophies you don't want to get into a spin and have to be bailed out, howzzz that!

Edit... sorry if this confused you @SaskiaKC not sure what the cricket scene is like over the Atlantic.

I just watched this on you tube about the Coronavirus
It is interesting. It includes a few aspects and topics.

Yes @Muddy Cyclist I did use the fan brush a lot in this one, and for the leaves and blossom. Thanks for the compliment :)

Yes testing all the time when I remember. Bloods usually lowest around lunchtime when they are either in the 4s or early 5s before meals. Generally around upper 5s or low 6s 2hrs after. Numbers were up but didn't associate it with stress as I had experimented with a piece of Pomelo. Bloods up from 5.3 to 7.3 and stayed in the 6s until late afternoon. Its ages since I have seen anything in the 7s so not best pleased. Not too bad yesterday but up again tonight. 6.3 before evening meal but where that came from I haven't a clue.

The laptop has certainly frustrated me and is now in the repair shop. Apparently the connector was crushed which is why I could remove it but not connect it back up again. New screen required. Tip for future reference do not put heavy suitcases on top of laptops when you go on holiday/

we had that with several over the years, for this one..(it just lives in the kitchen)
i set it up from new for with a mouse and keyboard..still works as a laptop, just got fed up with them breaking
we do give em a hard life though..if i ain't on it..Lauren is
so much so we has tp get steph her own one, quite young, as she never got any time online with us Silver Surfers hogging all the Broadband..:hilarious:

Too little ..Too late ..sadly.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-51364382

think it's not a question of when we join china,

it's how bad it gets..
IF we don't find a cure asap.

Bearing in mind NO symptoms* while infected early on.
means we have to test EVERYONE..(german case disproved, but still accepted it can happen)

and if you consider the struggles to control immigration over the years, across europe, one, two or many hundreds WILL get past any attempts we make to do that successfully...and then it starts again with a European city replacing Wuhan

Yay. Go you.

5.5 this morning. It was absolutely freezing cold this morning but wrapped up really well so it was quite a nice doggie walk. Have caught up with the posts ,- a lovely relaxing read.

Now I will catch up with the daily newspapers - have only read one so far this week as work is so hectic. Then the Suduko and then reluctantly more admin.
