Went for my follow-up appointment last Thursday and the doctor confirmed what I already knew with my own testing, my results came back 6.2 and he finally agreed that I won't need metformin and to continue with what I'm doing.

Then he pointed out that my triglycerides were still high, so I asked him to compare to my last test and he seemed surprised that they went down dramatically as well. He provided me a booklet on how to reduce cholesterol naturally and was no longer pushing me to take the statin (atorvastatin).

Based on my ongoing self-testing, I am probably on my way to a 5.3% or better at my next A1C check.

Congrats, that's outstanding.

I don't think you need a book on anything. ;)

BRILLIANT STUFF

Well done you for spotting the TRIGS

mine over 10 years went down by hall.
But they halved again in one year by simply eating LCHF . Go figure.

Great news and a great resul for you
have to agree, Don't thing you need a book either.
,
I do believe, as they say.."You GOT this" :D

Excellent news! Keep up the good work!
