@dunelm @jjraak

I haven't been outside yet, but will check later.
But something visited the garden in the night.
I don't hear this stuff with being deaf.
But my shadow does...the furry one that sleeps under my chin. He had been all relaxed and light as a feather, but just before midnight, his body tensed up, woke me up, and his 4 paws are powerhouses of getting ready to spring...it hurts!
So he stalked to the glass door in full attack mode...
Whatever was in the garden was not happy...I shall check later if the chicken wire helped...

Take care
Stay safe

Ooh... How mysterious.

I Wonder what it was ..?

Shall keep an eye out on this...

" The Beast of the thread of Gold "
Vol 1 ..."Popeye sniffed the air, as slowly, he turned and saw the first glimpse of......"

Good morning everyone from another glorious start in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of a surprised discovery of pulled pork in the back of the freezer came in at 4.7 this am

We really ought to sort out our freezers - we have one in the kitchen and another in the garage. Both are crammed to bursting. Items are being removed and consumed but like those poor darlings in Texas who milk the earth for it’s oil, we keep foraging for stuff and are running out of storage. I do write things down for the brave soul who trudges fearlessly to the fighting arena but she always seems to go off piste. It’s like a dog spotting a squirrel. So, I am going for two meals this evening - on for Mrs Miggins, containing massive carby things like frozen Yorkshire Puddings that hog room in the freezer and some nice compact protein stuff for me.

Hope you can sort out your intruder @gennepher.

Have as wonderful a day as you can. Might get some more sun bathing in today.

Koffy calls

Good Morning and an early rise gave me a 5.7 and yet before hitting the sack last night it was 4.3

However I did feel a tad under the weather on rising so probably that, Fibromyalgia again I suspect, all this blinking stress over C19.

Will get to see our son at lunch time as he's shoeing Mrs MCs horse so that will be nice and social distance will be kept. Then tonight another family meal, but this time more participants, will it be such a success as last weeks I wonder? Having problem getting phone to mirror screen with iPad so gets a little crowded on iPhone screen.

Note they have started the first human vaccine trials on NHS front line staff.

As usual take care.

Hope you feel better as the day goes on. A clever idea to test the vaccine on NHS front line staff. I had wondered how they would test it

A hug for the stress.
We (Mrs Miggins that is) are looking at using Zoom. Facetime is currently working fine but not sure just how many participants it can handle.

5.3 this morning. Can't keep saying loving the artwork but its true so I'll say it again. Love the artwork and thank you all. The Scottish scenes particularly call to me @Muddy Cyclist.

Looking like a nice day here in the North East of England, now to just find something productive to do.

I won't comment on this morning's latest from Donald Trump except to say I am appalled.

Edit... sorry that should have been @Krystyna23040 quote above, apologies.

Thanks for hugs, already improving, I'm used to managing this Fibromyalgia, luckily I can usually shake off the worst, an Aerobic bike ride can get it gone faster but not prepared to take the risks at the moment.
Re vaccine test, apparently they are trying to test whilst we are in the current peak otherwise they will have to wait until the next wave hits, not going to be a quick fix.

Thanks for the hug. Zoom is good it was just the limit of 40 minutes. I might have to put my hand in my pocket and pay for the family, @Debandez indicated it was just under £11 per month for unlimited access. We gave up trying it with the folk group as other members didn't want to put to the cost. The choirs we sing in may use it as we pay subs for being members.

PS a relative says 'house party' worked OK for family get together and works on all platforms.

Thank goodness they got it ready for testing so quickly. They were really working against at the clock to get it ready for testing in the current peak.

The only comment I will make is that I really really hope that nobody will try this at home.

It was the mouse on a string with a dust pan and brush to sweep out the virus from your lungs,, when I thought... That can't be true. :wideyed:

A other gentle 6.8 this morning and I might have identified the culprit, for once the meter is innocent.

I hope you folks have busy days, attached if I can get right is a taster of how, hopefully my day will go.....

After having an unnecessary panic about food, triggered by realising that low carb bread needs eggs...only have 16 left. Worked out that I have sufficient supplies for 21 breakfasts. (Did think more eggs, but they are at the end of supermarket and trolley was looking very full by then.)(All this food just for me?)
Am now stretching out the eggs by making tuna melts and a bacon version, probably make some with ham as well. Two eggs into four or five melts, instead of two scrambled eggs. Breakfasts sorted. Six eggs into at least a dozen breakfasts. Now at least 28 days breakfasts. Bonus points for cooking all in one go, uses less gas. Umm... is there room in the freezer?
Umpteen lunches... salad from the garden, tinned sardines, jars of pâté, kilo of cheese, etc.
At least a month of proteins for dinner. Frozen veg, and fresh. A dozen portions of cauliflower rice. Also wholemeal penne pasta 20 per meal.
Going out on my bike again today. Borderline legal, taking rubbish.
@gennepher there are six houses here, four occupied. We do get occasional people passing, for exercise. There is also the language barrier. Although improving my french is still nowhere near adequate. Sizeable hole too. Did the chicken wire work?
@Ryhia hugs for the mundanity.
@karen8967 lucky you. My jobs list seems to grow by the day. :meh:
@Muddy Cyclist great paintings in you Scottish vista series.

Will catch up with others later.

Morning...a beautiful day again the curtains are closed over so the sun cannot get to me...slightly hung over this morning as a result of several glasses of prosecco out front with the neighbours during the NHS clap...one coffee down another one brewing that should help...exciting times we could do without for those of you with a sensitive nature skewed humour or pet phobic read no further Lola managed to get herself lost last night...called Charlie in no sign of her but could hear her meowing...finally located her in neighbours two doors away...she wouldn't come to my neighbour so I had to retrieve her got her home & I thought she was a bit traumatised so left her...a couple of hours later heard another feint meow she's only slipped out the door before I managed to close it...finally got her in...woke this morning to a ...prosecco fuelled 7.2 no hugs its self inflicted

Morning all from a bright and sunny County of the Prince Bishops, the meter of doom is currently playing games with me, a 4.9 was bestowed upon me upon rising and a 11 two whole hours later with only a small glass of milk for breakfast as I can't be bothered to eat. I give up. on a brighter note I can't get Princess Trixie off the new pallet couch! even when the sun is shining and its melting the wood, she still insists on lying outside! So its carry her inside then listen as she asks politely to go back outside! Oh the joys of having bulldogs, or little furry toddlers!

Take care everyone and stay safe

Will pass on the ‘house party’ info to my carer.
