What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

5.5 this morning. Mr K is at Aldi for the weekly shop. He is not very happy at how long his hair is growing - especially as it gets curly as it grows longer.

Washing is out on the line and as soon as he is back and I have sanitised the shopping we will be off for the dog walk

Me too but I'm told men only have a limited amount of hormones. If people waste their's on growing hair we may be having a better time:angelic:
Well I'm off to waste a few more of mine on what promises to be a Muddy Bike Ride. I hope I have enough in reserve to get me back. :)

Good morning everyone from a feisty, Kenneth Grahame morning in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of misrepresented data, salvaged use by dates and “look, sniff and test” techniques rocked in at 4.9 this am

Yesterday, I donned my fedora, a reasonably light pair of walking shoes and did one of those self guided tours of some ancient pile with interesting gardens. After a while, I realised that many of the rooms were very similar but the art work displayed was quite interesting especially one wall that contained a good number of child portraits over several decades. Gardens OK and a quirky self service, make your own, cafeteria was in operation. I may visit again. Overall, 6 and a bit miles of walking and 35 stair climbs. Not bad and the weather was nice.

Have the very best day that you can, I really need some koffy.

Morning...phew a busy couple of days no ides where the time has gone virtual work can be just taxing as 'real' work...done the first few jobs using my phone but waiting on another interview with a client in custody on a Zoom type app so I've had to comb my hair & get dressed the last couple I did pyjamas were suitable...tided up the living room well at least the part they will see on the camera hair tied back wearing pearl earrings & mascara...thankfully they won't be able to see my PJ bottoms & trainers...woke to a 6.5 a beautiful sunny but cooler day here.

A long morning.

I have never seen a queue outside the post office at 8 am There were 15 people. Finally got seen to at 9 am. That was me exhausted and wiped out.

And now I am too late to avoid queues on the other five shops I needed. I didn’t have any energy left. I went to two of them that had the shortest queues. Hardly got what I needed.

Came home, disinfected what I had. I will do without until next week. It just means opening tins from my tin supply, instead of getting the fresh food I needed.

No energy to do a pastel painting today. I need sleep now...

I will draw a pic in the app or something for today.

Ok then
7.20 am FBG 5.3
@ianpspurs sorry I forgot to do 2 hour BG.
But mine usually goes up a little and then down to prebreakfast level or lower.

If BG is a bit high for me sometimes it will go down a little by fasting another 30 mins after that its on the way up again until i do eat.

A new twist, the govt sent me an SMS saying that I had been moved to the clinically extremely vulnerable list and would be calling shortly. I did check and it is for real so I was all set to receive the call.

Shortly after the phone goes and thinking it is them I am surprised to find it is my doctor checking on me. We had a conversation about the above but he wanted my next of kin details.

I think I need to pack a bag and delete my browser history :bag:;)

Hug, funny and winner all in one. I am constantly amazed by your spirit.

Thanks ;)

Just finished speaking to the govt helpline, lovely scouser lad so we had a good laugh. He's got me placed on the priority slot list with the supermarkets and made sure I had enough food for the next week. They do food parcels apparently so veg should be ok, did point out I'm T2 and LCHF so we'll see how that goes. At the end of the day, free is free :)

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen and all who have been instructed to rest with a leg raised on a cushion.

A sprightly 7.5 nut fuelled reading this morning.

I had my day planned until Mrs J intervened deciding that she would wash the middle patio without my supervision, that's my day ruined.
I hope your day goes well. Remember if you don't follow the guidance you could end up dead sooner rather than latter.
