What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

well an interesting day.

late start so out on Pablo for a quick spin..
ended up in a M&S petrol station getting essentials, officer.:bag:

and run out took me to the cemetery to see mum & dads grave and have a few peaceful moments

then back home to the latest street party, bless em.
sure they'll all be clapping like loons next Thursday on the last clap for Boris.

so lock down over ?, well in London..if the signs are neighbours having a wino moment in the street and queues for the car wash, it seems so.

Wasn't for me, admittedly, but can't work out whether to be indignant or accepting of the new social norms..mmhh

oh well...ho hum :D
I fear us more cautious souls will be demonised. We will be the new radical @jjraak and @Muddy Cyclist and seen as apostates and kill joys.

Family meal was good, all be it on a tiny screen, does anyone know how to get iPhone to mirror screen with iPad, Apple screen mirroring does not seem to work between these devices even with latest op systems and latest iPad. However all went very well. Lots of discussion on how as a family we might start meeting physically, no clear plan as yet other than visit son's huge garden once we are allowed to meet in larger groups, 12 of us.
We would go in VW camper, use own loo, sleep over so we can have a drink, cook own BBQ and breakfast, social distance in garden, could work.

Too tired to do anything much today after queuing this morning for the Post Office. Slept quite a bit. Cat slept with me.

So for my painting today, it is far far too windy to do anything outside.
And brain was too scrambled to do a physical painting.
But I played with a new app (actually it is a very old app which doesn't work properly, but I like the effects it does, and I cannot find a current comparable app). But I lost my picture I drew it twice before I figured it out. This is the third attempt.

App is called Pro FPaint

It is all I can do today.

Here it is...

Fantastic effort and courageously done after such a difficult day. Hope Saturday is a better day for you.

Have booked a slot in the car park at Blickling Hall for next Tuesday. I am so looking forward to walking around the grounds. They are severely limiting visitors so hopefully it will be safe. It will be so lovely to get out into the countryside.
Enjoy,. We are so lucky having 25square miles of AONB Cannock Chase right on our doorstep, can walk there or bike there in less than 10 minutes. It is so lovely to get into the countryside. Hope you have a great day.

IF demonic Cummings can travel the length of England while KNOWINGLY infected
So sorry Durham..be brave.

then i fail to see what stops you OR every other family in the LAND having a family day.
good enough for him while infectious to risk so many others.

he MUST Know that Covid is an important disease.
though i do wait the better informed by Johnson's actions over such a flagrant breach.

This worries me too. In fact, I have always put my face mask and gloves on before I leave the house when shopping or collecting meds. But I am the only one who does so in our road, and the only one in the shops. I get a half smirk or pitying look from some others in the street or shop. I don't care, but it does affect inside of me. No one round here wears masks. There is a part of me half expecting someone to pull off my mask.

And it does affect me getting all psyched up ready to go out next time.

Good Morning and 5,8 for me today.

Looking good outside, another blank canvas for me, perhaps a gentle Mountain Bike Ride with Mrs MC, I know Mrs MC won't do anything very technical but is OK for 20 miles of bridleways, I have to carry everything though.

Big fire on Cannock Chase Yesterday evening and those winds caused concern to a few farmers on the outskirts our friend being one of them, he's OK though.

Those same winds have flattened many plants in our garden, such a shame.

Be spontaneous, use your day well, risk asses and stay safe.

Oh, today we should have been off on our family holiday to Port Ore Wales, now been postponed until this time next year. First time we have not done this for 15 years and can't even get together at home with our family, sad but needs must.

I have been reading that the sales of camping equipment have boomed by over 400%. Based on the survey I have received from the Camping and Caravaning Club asking about social distancing, toilets and showers being kept closed or deep cleaned more often with social distancing in place, where are all these newbie campers going to camp? If there is mayhem happening at Seaside resorts under lockdown rules it's going to get even worse when they are less restrictive and a lot more risky to visit and for the residents of such places.

Good morning everyone on a still fiery and argumentative morning in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of chicken suppers and catching up with friends over electronic telecommunications devices came in at 5.2 this am

Not a good night last night - was it something that I said or was it that Cummings bloke driving north? Perhaps the book that I finished reading yesterday was a bit miffed. It does have a wonderful comic representation of Night Watch on the front cover to match the name of the book. Perhaps it wanted to be called “Militia Company of District II under the Command of Captain Frans Banninck Cocq“ - too many words my little paperback friend. Latest novel is “Matter” - by Iain M Banks - a slip into fantasy, much like thinking that you can go sunbathing on a crowed beach - oops, that’s roulette.

An email, two in fact, from Easyjet - our scheduled flights to Berlin in a couple of weeks now officially cancelled - quick, fill in the form, get in the queue - laugh at the prospect of a refund any time soon. You never know - it’s worth a go and anyhow, what price a life.

I hope that everyone has the very best day that they can have. Must make kofee but here are a couple of tips for what to do about food cravings.

A bit windy, but sunny and nice out there. Going back out to do some more things before the wind gets up.
Here is a sunset in soft pastels. An hour and a quarter...

Good morning everyone from a blustery Breckland. Fbg of 5.5 today which forms part of a rebuke from my body for being an utter clownshoe. A long term trait of mine is to push too hard rather than continue ticking along steadily - cost me a few centuries back in the day. Several lights on the imaginary dashboard at amber lately so numbnuts here hears full speed ahead - eat less, exercise more! Top posts @jjraak (re PPE type sense), @Muddy Cyclist (re managing T2 remotely and on your own). @dunelm such a fine wordsmith but only a like for me due to that table - the bacon:arghh:. All these references to Cummings and The Ego in No 10 lost on me so far but those 2 stroll through life with this on full blast:
