What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

does anyone know how to get iPhone to mirror screen with iPad, Apple screen mirroring
I was ready for my remote work yesterday MC after almost 45 minutes of fiddling with apps & lord knows what we gave up & used speaker phones...I am clueless with technology...so when the lockdown has eased I'm consulting my expert Liv next door neighbour aged 10 bet she can do it.

Enjoy,. We are so lucky having 25square miles of AONB Cannock Chase right on our doorstep, can walk there or bike there in less than 10 minutes. It is so lovely to get into the countryside. Hope you have a great day.
You are really lucky to have Cannock Chase right on your doorstep. We can't really complain because we do have nice countryside quite close to us but have really missed our weekly visit to National Trust parkland.

5.3 this morning. The dog walk was really windy. Now relaxing in the conservatory listening to the wind whipping around the house.

It was so hot last night difficult to sleep Krystyna...cant leave the bedroom door open as usual as Charlie does unspeakable things on the duvet for some reason he has a fascination with it...so having coffee with the garden doors wide open enjoying the breeze.

Morning...more remote completed yesterday although not as successfully as I had hoped...the plan was to use a conference platform so I could see the exhibits that would be put to my client and actually be seen in the interview room...platform all loaded I could see them & hear them I was poised with a gleaming smile tidy hair pen & notebooks ready dining room arranged so they would believe I was organised...then it all went to pot I see & hear them but they could not see me no idea what was going wrong so eventually we used speaker phones...beautifully sunny here but we have a stirring breeze coming through the gardens doors lovely...more coffee...woke to a 6.5...keep safe everyone.

You will get it figured out @HarryBeau
Just try again, and again...
And just before the point of slinging every bit of technology out of the window, you WILL get it...
Hopefully you will get it well before then (but that is the point where enlightenment dawns for me...)...

8.1 fasting but yesterday afternoon it was 15.0
That's a good reduction Shelley so progress as long as we do all we can that's the prime objective...there's no hard & fast rule to manage our BG we have to find our own way individually so any improvement is significant well done.

hi @ShelleyMcD

i wonder what food you ate yesterday.?

for me the journey started with little to No (more NO if i'm honest ) knowledge
about foods.

it was only through the members on here, that i was pointed to better food choices for a T2D's
and learned what works for ME..

Diet doctor was a personal favourite.

that clear comparison between good food choices and bad was really my start into the nutrition advice i needed.

it took a while before i got down to a set numbers of foods i do enjoy, can reasonably safely eat.

I saw you had others issues as many of us do.
i hope the link, can offer some help anyway.

We had to get a child gate for our bedroom door so that we can keep the door open and stay cool. It works really well with the Labradors but of course Charlie and Lola would just leap over it as they are so athletic.

Late afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. Me and me's have been a bit busy today, sometimes real life just gets in the way of virtual life.

Another reading of in the sevens for me this morning, that will teach me to eat pasta, a special treat or not, but it is below my hospital dictated 10 so I'm happy.

For many of us our day is almost over and it will soon be time to stick pins in voodoo dolls of journalists, in the forlorn hope that they will ask sensible questions during the government briefings.

I hope your day went well and you managed to smile and bring a smile to a strangers face, I have failed in this task today, I have been locked away to protect the sanity of those near me.
Till tomorrow, I must dash and dot morse code is on my case.

I have a new respect for Virtual Musicians, those who playin isolation and record themselves and someone edits it all together for us to watch on YouTube. Today Mrs MC and I have been recording our parts to some Recorder Quintet Music sent by our Musical Director. Involves listening through headphones to melody and playing and recording your part, took all afternoon only to be told that timing is not quite right and the five parts could not be merged, so we have to start again. We are only compiling a Quintet, how on earth do whole orchestras manage? We shall win.

So my rushed watercolour for today is another sketch, two in fact, both A5 and part of some ideas I have for reflections in water. First is the stand of trees by Fairoak Pools the second is some fence posts taken from the Internet, they are similar to some I pass on my bike but have not yet managed to draw Plein Air or get a photo of. 40 minutes in total.

Your reflections in water look good @Muddy Cyclist

Brilliant work with those two paintings in 40 minutes.

You'll get your You Tube video worked out, and may I throw in some good wishes for you all as well in this Quintet project.
