What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen and Troglodytes.

Busy early morning here in Tilehurst Towers and a 7.2 on the meter of misbehaving and naughtiness.

Me and me's had a telephone consultation with the liver specialist this morning and all my liver and kidney results are not a cause for concern, which after 28 years since my liver transplant and the horrendous concoction of drugs I take is OK in my book. My A1c has risen slightly, but again given the drugs I take is OK, if you're interested it was 58. Ah bless Prednisilone and Neoral.

Again Afternoon, one or several of you asked what is flash mash @mojo37
Flash Mash or Cold Canon?

Boil potatoes with minimal seasoning, mash and then freeze for at least 24 hours.
Remove from the freezer and defrost.
Fry 1 or 2 leeks until soft in butter, while warming the mash potatoe.
Mix into the mash with seasoning to taste adding at least 1 teaspoon of English mustard.

Of course you can play around adding such delights as cheese, onions etc.

We were in Riverdale, New York visiting Mr K 's uncle and auntie when it happened. Virtually on the same day my daughter's future husband's brother was stabbed to death by a mentally Ill stranger in the UK. So it is definitely not a date we would forget.

But I do agree that it is overshadowed in many ways by Covid this year.

Fantastic news young man. Great week all round. Mrs A J voted stay then that phone call. Do the lottery sharpish.

Dry first thing so I spent the morning giving the back garden a hair cut. By 1130 it turned into a wet grass day and its been even wetter this pm.

Decided to make a list of all the admin I need to do this pm. It feels so much better when its on a list!
In the process of checking my paperwork I found two more lists that I had misplaced.

Don't do as I do, do as I say

The spuds must be either frozen overnight or in the fridge and then the carbohydrate injestion is modified.

Great result, That's good news for you and your family.
 
My art bit. Caught up by finishing my watercolur painting which I started a few days ago. Then as I had missed doing art for 2 days took a leaf out of Mrs MCs book and with waterpencils, Pastel and a gold pen tried a stylistic flower.
