What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morning and 6 for me today.

Other than the weekly Tesco shop I'm taking it easy today, decorating and MILs bungalow clearing seems to have moved muscles in ways they are not used to, result aches. :)

Campsite cancelled the October half Term Holliday yesterday, said they did not have enough guidance from GOV and so decided to close and refund everyone :( I'm so missing the sea so think I will have to sneak off in early October if we get another fine window of weather.

Drift along with time to day. Keep safe.

Oh, I realise you were not serious, shooting is not a safe killing strategy as injured squirrels could suffer a lot of pain.

No, they trap them, but release any Reds they catch and then put the Greys in a plastic sack and hit them over the head.
This seems to be the only way to preserve our native Reds up here. I think its too late to help Red squirrels in the midlands and south.

I could not envisage a suitable strategy in the south where there are only 'island' populations of Reds.
D.
Don't worry too much about squirrels in The Sarf - Specsave Dom has a cunning ruse involving disguising Greys as Grouse. New test and trace eyesight test - if you can see the moon your eyes are fine. I haven't checked what my fbg was today 'cos knowing it won't alter my food choices and is useless for looking after Nos 2 and 4 granddaughters. As the man said

Morning...ooh the rain last night we needed some but it hammered down here...Charlie has been given the all clear from the Vets so good news there...I managed to find two cardboard boxes of equal size so now we are a four bedroom household hopefully they'll stop squabbling over them...been doing a daily check on cv-19 capacity for the last 15 days now...nothing within a 50 to70 mile drive some even further...there may have been some home test kit capacity but surprisingly in order to qualify for one you must submit to a vetting process where your information is shared with an huge American Credit Broking firm before your application is accepted/considered...woke to a 6.7...keep safe everyone.

Thought I’d finish this as I await her ladyships return. So sat in car park doing this. Woke up to a 6.0 this morning

Just what was needed after the Tesco forage and shopping put away. Sat with a Coffee, armchair comfort art gallery, excellent. I like that light, 20 layers, wow. The same technique is used with paper, watercolour and brushes letting each layer bleed through to give that brightness. So pleased you didn't dump it.

Edit...Just to say no shortage of anything in our Tesco and social distancing staff are policing the isles and announcements over the public address, good, but also a bit Orwellian and scary.

She is doing a bit too well. The treatment is a new intense 5 day course, but her social calendar is off the scale. I have given up warning her, no point ;)
Hug for you and the extra risk her social whirl causes. There is a demographic which just refuses to accept reality. Full on Starship :angelic: for those folks - and they have the levers of power but hopefully by bonfire night one egregious malfeasant may be on the move.
