Good morning everyone from a wet and bouncingly noisy start in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of fried greed tomatoes with eggs and bacon romped home at 4.8 this am

I brought in all the green tomatoes yesterday thinking to put them in paper bags to ripen and then thought - make chutney - so I did - but then saved 4 and did fried greed tomatoes in whistlestop time. Absolutely delicious. Why had I not done this before.
Summer shed now has a coating on acrylic based waterproofing on curtesy of Mrs Miggins - I will check it once it gets light to see if it OK or in need of another coat.

Waterfalls have been featured recently so here is another, perhaps a couple of brush strokes too many but hey ho - ink on rice paper.
Have a wonderful day if you can - it’s wellies and waterproofs here I think but first some koffy.

That wonder wheel and the art are both in fine fettle of late. Now, having drawn me in, may I ask how long the chutney keeps. Or do you consume at such speed that is no issue?
I had a nasty experience with a Phantom once!
Probably just an exceptionally big turkey. Phantoms and poultrygeists frequently confused. (Thought I should post early for Christmas this year.):angelic:

Definitely mystical
Its a hole in the fabric of time, where one Universe bleeds into ours.

Painting this morning in iPastels. Just playing out of my head again. I had an idea of a painting in my head, but I am not competent yet with the settings and tools available. It was to have been a misty painting with a person coming out of the mist, but I ended up doing this. And it included the ubiquitous waterfall...

The only quarrel I had with this app this morning was the undo tool undid more than the last stroke. Grrrr.

But then I thought, you don't get an undo tool in actual pastels, so I don't use it now.

Have a good positive day :)

No it was definitely a Phantom, flown by two of your former colonial friends, who had tried to bring down a 1000ft TV mast at Caldbeck in 1978.
They got inside the stay network at less than 750feet and tried to cut through a main stay and actually did cut halfway through the multi strand cable.
If they had been successful the mast would have fallen on our building, the one I was in at the time. He left at least a two foot by 6 foot+ section of sliced off the end of the wing that dropped near our Range Rover.
He got back to his airfield, I think it was Upper Heyford.

Thank you @ianpspurs getting out for longer walks lately - mainly trying to burn off the lockdown lump.
This particular chutney lasts quite a while and I store for 3 or 4 weeks before opening in order for it to sort itself out. As the recipe says - top with clingfilm, screw down the lid and store upside down.

Afternoon fellow posters and the painters on this thread.

Yesterday afternoon I took a phone call from the hospital diabetic clinic with regard to my telephonic consultation with the diabetic consultant scheduled for this coming Friday.
The staff nurse wanted some details, starting of with name, address, date of birth, then the serious stuff started.
Nurse " can I have some details "
I quickly replied " Of course, inside leg 29 inches, IQ minus 15, retired ex door to door salesman "
The phone went quiet then the nurse burst out laughing and said " I'm not writing that down "
Not long after that things went down hill with the nurse admitting she was not a diabetic nurse.
Friday should now be very interesting.

I am now in the middle of doing a statistical analysis of my readings and insulin doses over the last 5 months. Ready for Friday.

Bloods this morning were 6.7
Have a great day, well what's left of it.

Idea for painting whilst on Waterfalls and before they freeze as @lindisfel suggests. These are from a picture I took of the Fairy Pools on Isle of Sky....

Big hug for Mrs MC - hope it went well - no visits to expensive hair salons - again! Interesting sketches. Isle of Sky Fairy Pools looks like a great contender. I have ideas for Mealt Falls and The Old Man of Storr when I get back to mountains.

I put my motor-home in a ditch on the isle Of Skye 25 miles away from Portree and the nearest garage and tow truck and long before the advent of mobile phones.

Hope all went well for Mrs MC and a suitable portion of TLC is served at regular intervals.

Any chance of adding the In Pinn to your intinerary? :) ;)
