Hug is for the back and cramp but it should be a winner for the tenacity with which you deal with "issues" I very much enjoyed the porcine undercarriage touch. I also like the food even though it is meat. Hugs, prayers and hoping all goes well for MIL and your cramp and back.
Thanks @ianpspurs - a couple of laps round the park seems to have helped - not the sudden downpour - just the walking

Never met my Grand father he never made it past the first few months of the war died at sea.
Grandmother had four children to bring up on a war widow's pension. not easy, but she did well. Coincidentally my father was at Dunkirk the badge in my avatar is the ships badge of HMS Codrington which made something like 6 trips back and forth taking several thousand troops back to Dover he however spent most of that time ashore helping to maintain ship to shore communications.

I know full well what their attitude would be much the same as any decent human beings would.

Ian I have also signed that petition the person mentioned in that article you linked to is from a nearby town to me and I dislike him intensely.

@alf_Josiah Very nearly snap for brunch except no black pudding much to my disgust I like my black pudding and only one sausage and a rasher of bacon oh and half the amount of fried bread.

I have just been listening to the Bob Dylan song Farewell Angelina - sung by Joan Baez - a favourite artist of mine since the 60’s - a song of contrasts between the love of two people and the lunacy of the world around us. Sort of fits in some way with what’s going on right now. My Mother sang a song called Farewell to Tarwathie - similar melody but all about whales.
Anyhow.

Excellent choice. Joan Baez is so talented - Diamonds and rust?

Okay. Not been in the best of moods today.
Was trying to set up to do Chinese painting, but got backache so need to sit on the couch with feet up.
Then a friend sent me a picture of the most amazing face mask (the design on it) that I have ever seen. I said I loved it. Then next text message was details of when the mask will be delivered to me. Wow! That put a smile on my face :)

So I got my Chinese paper, my Art-Kure brush pens, my water spray,
This is 'Autumn'. My painting for today.
I was in a bright colour mood. It is still sopping wet! So there is the strong possibility it will dry lighter. I don't possess a hair drier, so it will have to dry by itself!
So it could be that I will carry on working on it at a later time!
Not a traditional Chinese painting today!

See how this idea of painting develops...

MSL at the thought of needing border police to repel invading almond butter. Presumably illegally landed by dinghy on N Norfolk coast. I've read all about that in The Telegraph. Pritii easy to fix:angelic:
Ah - great news. With Pritti on the case I should have no more problems with the almond butter.

good evening all :)

4.2 today

a quiet day doing some more wardrobe sorting, too much 'stuff' stashed in the spare bedroom ;)

A very cold wind here today but we managed a walk around the village.

Hope your day is treating you well :)

@ianpspurs - petition signed :) thank you, hope your MIL's situation is sorted soon.

@RFSMarch - hugs for the rotator cuff injury, tore part of mine a good few years ago lifting a box (subscapularis ;)), felt like it took forever to heal.

@gennepher - sheesh! not even underwear :banghead: what a c*ckup Fortunately our lockdown here is not so draconian, (and also fortunately I bought some new 'items ;)' last week :D )
Litte acts of kindness can make our day can't they? Love your bright autumnal painting, very cheering :joyful:

@Muddy Cyclist - we seem to specialise in transformations here :joyful:

@Alien Aspie - felicitations on the safe arrival :)

@dunelm - hugs for the cramp session, hopefully the walk has settled things down :)
A fine and subtle landscape today, you have a way with rocks :)

art bit -
got my new waterproof black ink pens :) I ordered them so I could have a go at pen and wash drawing.

Hopefully @lindisfel doesn't mind me using a lovely pic he posted as inspiration :)
some details were finished off after the main wash was dry

Sorry low carb bread toasted. I can't eat fried bread anymore. 2 sausages cut in half.

Hope you enjoyed it all and thanked Mrs AJ? Nice plain white plate which earned the winner:) The beauty of this thread is our differences don't turn nasty - other threads can't make that claim. Personally, I might eat an egg on top of mashed avo on toast (minus the pepper) but fair play to you for walking the LCHF walk as well as talking the talk. You're a top, top man.

@ianpspurs: I thanked Mrs J, I would be dead meat if I didn't thank her.
Yes lowish carb and low carb bread.
I must inform you that it is no good creeping round me hehehehe.
I relish our differences of opinion, over many things and long may it continue.
Take care and stay safe.
