Hi all just wondering if anyone can share there low carb meals would be greatly appreciated I eat a lot of greens cauliflower rice chicken lots of meat eggs just really fancy trying new things that are low carb thanks in advance.

Weeks menu from me..

Yesterday slow roast pork shoulder
Saturday rump steak and bacon barbecued
Friday sirloin steak barbecue
Thursday ox liver, bacon, eggs, high meat content sausages
Wednesday Roast Chicken
Tuesday Lamb Chump Chops
Monday stewed game pie mix
Sunday pork chops.

Sometimes mushrooms in creme fraiche.

Afternoon pre dinner meal usually some kind of salami/ham with some cheese.

After dinner a few raspberries with double cream, maybe a small portion of Oppo ice cream (again with double cream) or rarely some nuts (brazils, almonds or macadamias)

Main source of nourishment definitely meat though.

Hope that helps.

Arsenal - have you had a good look through the "What have your eaten threads"? There are some very creative cooks on there.

Alternatively, if you fancy, say cottage pie (or anything else), just Google "Low Carb Cottage Pie" and see what comes back.

A few things I really rely on:
  • Avocados
  • Pork belly
  • bacon and eggs
  • bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers
  • Baked chicken wings
  • Just recently, fathead pizza dough.

A lot of meat here too.

Tonight was air fried lamb ribs, rubbed with lemon pepper.
Yesterday was minced beef fried with some onions and a couple of eggs.
Weekend was a lamb shoulder, slow cooked in the oven and a chicken done in the air fryer (really crisps the skin up)

some of the low carb stuff I eat:-

salmon, mackerel, sardines are all low carb
greek yoghurt (full fat is lower carb) - a few raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries.
Lettuce, tomato, cucumber. All cheeses. Coleslaw. Olives
Dark chocolate - 85% or over. A little peanut butter
Bacon, bratwurst sausages, gammon steaks, beef burgers or steak
Sugar free jelly, double cream
smoked sausage is low carb but high in saturated fat
mushrooms, a little onion
cabbage, courgetti, aubergines
omlettes
Cold meats
pork scratchings/crackles

I have been shopping in Lidl and their meat has been really cheap.
I have found 1.8kg packs of chicken thighs.
Pork shoulder joints with stuffing marked down to about £4.50.
Plus the pork steaks are really cheap, and then there is the reduced section to browse through.

At the moment ( rainy season) I’m doing lots of slow cooking - just one pot to clean too . I get myself down to the farmers market and get bones for bone broth or my favorite lamb - I’ve done shoulder and leg. - I do fish too -

If ever I saw food porn - this is it - and I love every bit of it !

Hi Mbaker, I love the images of the meals you eat. That's how I like to eat, lots of good protein and balanced nicely with healthy vegetables. I must look up how to make the coconut flatbreads. Best wishes.
