What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning everyone on an interim inoculation possibility in the dark and dangerous north - no breath holding just yet.

The wonder wheel of home made onion burgers (Oklahoma Style) with pickles and using lettuce instead of bread came in at 4.6 this am.

Matt and chums on the box yesterday doing his thing; talk about candles of hope and penalties in the back of the net. Some areas doing better than others (really!) and a hint about tweaking tier 1 and 2 for December. I will still continue to treat everyone outside like I do with road users when out on my bike - blind, foolish, selfish nut jobs that need to be avoided - can I be next in line to Van Tam when the jabs are thawed out? Gas and Electric meter readings - must take and log online - don’t want to turn someone away who thinks that they can breeze in with their recording pads.

When I paint, I sit my paper onto the next blank bit of a roll of backing paper. Stops ink going onto the table and handy for checking ink density and taking excess liquid out of brushes when going for a dry brush. So, what to do with all the random ink blobs - join them up somehow and see what happens. So, yesterdays picture and also joining up the ink blobs.

Have a great day if you dare - @Muddy Cyclist, hope that Mrs MC is feeling better and that your hot flush is nothing serious. I think that I would be seriously getting a test. Stay well - Koffy time here

I love the dramatic splendour of your first painting @dunelm
And looking down at it from a lofty height.

I save the wallpaper lining paper too, which is under my watercolour paintings. They can make original paintings in their own right with few or no additions. :)

@gennepher I am truly grateful to your dedication to researching the causes and enduring what must be a great hardship re Xmas cake. To sacrifice such well-turned ankles... by George woman! :)

@dunelm I did consider droplets once more but thought it might bore my audience. I have a couple of ideas but still not sure if I can pull them off, we shall see ;)

5.3 this morning and madam has 'suggested' that the paths need sweeping again, so outside it is.

Enjoy the day :)

Today's digital painting in Procreate...
I accidentally left the central heating on last night, and this place is too hot and stuffy...
I could walk barefoot in snow to cool down...so this is my next best option...

Very seasonal - cake inspired? I'm not a Christmas cake fanboy - could never get my head around marzipan and icing being fit for human consumption. Since we approach The Festive Season ™ all good Keto Yummy Mummies, Daddies and miserable old gits like me may be interested in these guys offers. They are a favourite with my grandchildren as well. There is an offer on something called Facebook - so Julie tells me- of buy 24 bags get another 12 free - apparently on their way here. Should help the essential viewing of sport over Christmas now we have more rooms and an extra layer of rooms equipped for me (to hide) :woot::woot::woot:

good evening all :)

4.7 today

woke up with a jump this morning, I usually open the bedroom window when I go to bed and take a look about then close it enough to just get a bit of fresh air flow. The window hadn't latched and the wind this morning was so strong it blew the window open then banged it shut :( , I nearly jumped out of my skin :hilarious:

Not a bad day here today but it is getting cold now and the forecast says that it will be cold before weekend, winter draws on :D (and winter socks and winter scarves ...)

Hope your day is treating you well :)

@JohnEGreen - what a lovely compliment, thank you :)

@dunelm -
I like your landscape today, it's very spacious and I like the temple pagoda peeking out :)

She's isn't much bigger than a cat but Katy is an apricot poodle :D

@gennepher - interesting style of foliage in today's picture and I like the subtle colour :)

@Muddy Cyclist - Hope that your symptoms abate soon and it's not anything nasty :)

Lovely grove of trees in your landscape today, very well done and the palette is clean and vibrant, I like it very much :joyful:

art bit -

windy weather ;) some of our trees are completely bare already.

I like just the rich fruit cake part of Xmas cake, and like you I don't like the marzipan or break your teeth icing @ianpspurs

Tempting cheesies...

5.5 today. Was walking dogs and waved at another dog walker entering the park. Wasn't looking where I was going - foot went down the hole and I went head over heels. Was going to describe it more colourfully but didn't want to be moderated.

No real damage done - except to my pride. Don't you feel stupid when you do something like this.

Off to farm shop shortly as soon as the washing machine finishes washing the mud off my coat.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen. Mrs J has written a job list, apparently I have lots to do today :-( .

A 5.5 this morning on the meter of misbehaving and naughtiness.

Today me and me's will stare longingly at my motorbike, while remembering rides from the past, perhaps I should don my bike gear, with my helmet on and earplugs inserted I won't be able to hear Mrs J screaming at me.

Stay safe.

Hugs. Hope you were not too bruised x

Hug for the trip - something over elbow I believe. Don't wave on the farm - more than mud to wash orf there.
Definitely didn't wave on the farm. You are right a lot more than mud to wash off my coat. I knew the hole was there and I am usually very careful when I walk in that part of the field - but just not today.
