everything good for me! getting better though x
What is everyone doing for new year resolutions this year? My resolutions of getting out more may be scuppered by the tier 4 lockdown.

I've started to reduce my eating window too, hoping to do 16:8 in January.

I do not have diabetes
My resolution is to cope better with my mental health.
My other resolution is to learn how to be an old age pensioner.
My last resolution is to try and stop posting on any and all threads.

Stay safe..

I believe that I could do with another resolution, but fate may intervene, I am not ready to go elsewhere, if I can make it through the year again, I will be grateful.

Hi Lamont,
I think you do well to reflect on those you have helped over the years which many will not forget, myself included.
I do hope you, your wife and family have a much better year in 2021.
Best wishes
Derek

Thank you so much, Derek.
I do still read your posts and you have helped me understand a lot as well as others, so you yourself can also reflect.
I want to wish you, your family a truly great (better) year in 2021.
My best wishes to you mate.
Stay safe.

My goals for the year I guess:

- Reduce Debt
- Get next surgery out of the way
- Move house
- Lose Weight/Better Blood Sugar Control
- Spend more time doing family history research
- 50 book challenge (utterly failed that this year, only 6 books)

Fifty books is pretty hefty going!
A book a week as good as.
I manage about one a month and think I'm doing well!

It's a difficult challenge but I can usually manage it if I put my mind to it. I just couldn't focus this year with everything going on. I've done it most years since 2004, some years I've managed over double that. My highest year total was 125 and I was without internet for 3.5 months that year.

My new years resolution is to manage my partner better. His mental health is so damaging to others at times.
Last year I was lousy at it.
Fingers crossed with at least an improvement.
Also I'm back to using a manual diary to organise my life better; as never have time to do instantly with little ones impetuous needs.

I'm very very fortunate Covid restrictions have only provided more space and less people to wade through to just get my essentials in. I know I walk slow but no one gives anyone space... unless it's forced on them, it seems. (I could be wrong though). I never used to give it much thought. I've always respected the old and disabled but it often feels its thin on the floor since I joined middle aged.
My generation were either at work or hurrying around to get provisions for the family with the yearning of time to relax in for some an overpriced home.
Boy! how things change in 12months???

Happy New Year to all.
I'm grabbing time on here whilst 7yr old watches an animated movie before bed so he has sweet dreams and less risk of a night terror before 1pm. He's typing away on his school laptop to join in tomorrow in earnest. I hope.

Nite nite to all.
Winding down without gadgets isn't as effective as amitriptyline... still.
