Congratulations to all.

Congratulations to all.
Thank you @alf_Josiah . We may run to a cheeky vimto to celebrate when Julie returns as my shares also seem to be celebrating today. Best not to tell Julie I have shares as she may be tempted into looking for baby clothes now she knows the size. It would be so wrong to put undue temptation and stress in her way. I'm too caring at times.:angelic:

It may already be too late to save my granddaughter as her parents seem to have hired her out as a char lady/extra from Tom and Jerry:arghh: I either need to rescue her urgently or it is a sneaky ploy to get money. Yellow hat totally baffles me - she only has 1 head as far as I can see. That is Zoe Ina P - could be worse. ZIP - 'ave a word mum and dad.

Congratulations x what a beautiful baby xx

good evening all :)

4.8 today

much milder today and the snow here is melting fast. We went out for a village walk earlier and there are still shoulder high drifts of blown snow on the edge of the road above the village, fortunately the road is clear because the farmer came out to play with his tractor and plough :D

Hope your day is treating you kindly :)

@ianpspurs - I know your day is treating you kindly ;) Welcome Zoe, she's lovely, and congratulations to you all on her safe arrival :joyful:

@gennepher - Hello there Popeye! :D an interesting painting today @gennepher , I do like the way your snow appears to sparkle and the fine foliage in the foreground :)

@dunelm - I like the texture the yellow rice paper has and that's a fine expansive landscape you've created today, that line of mountains in the background gives great depth, I like it :joyful: Careful with those cartwheels ;)

@Muddy Cyclist - hope your Tesco run is easy and productive and the music practice goes on apace :)
Glad that Moet seems to be improving now :)

art bit - thank you all for your support in my artistic doldrums, I shall try to do something creative every day :)

This landscape is based on an image by a painter called Alexander Rudakov (I think ;), my reading of cyrillic is sketchy :hilarious: ) I liked the different palette to my usual watercolour.

Good morning everyone from a quiet and peaceful start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north.
The wonder wheel of a day celebrating Chinese new year in the form of food came in at 5.4 this am

Video chat with mother yesterday - the Pompiers are pumping out their flooded community garage and then their submarine car will be recovered by insurance company for assessment - good luck with that. Good news is that her recent hip operation is resulting in better sleep and she is now working on a stepper made out of a bath step and a zimmer frame.

Art today - after C14th Huang Gongwang - on yellow rice paper. Hope everyone has a marvellous Monday. I shall be listening to Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major by Procol Harom and drinking koffy.

Pleased all seems to be progressing well for mom.

Nice ancient art from you today, a very fine landscape indeed.

Thank you, all well here.

That art is very different for you and works very well, a good watercolour.

Music recordings took up most of my day but not successfully, need to redo some of them. Did manage to get a walk in and saw some tall trees against a bright but rainy sky, reminded me of Tuscany so started a painting reflecting the mood and memory but very much UK. Will finish Tuesday.

A4 watercolour.....

Actually I quite like this as a finished painting!
There's a part of me that doesn't want much more added to it @Muddy Cyclist
But that is just me...

Glad your mother is doing well @dunelm
I like your painting and the perspective. I shall have to look that painter up...

Well I splashed the cash and bought myself an antibodies test kit and lo and behold I still have still some antibodies ! This is from last April when I thought I had a touch of flu but it turned out to be Covid 19 . Not bad for an immune compromised Diabetic! Now I'm going ahead and getting the Covid vaccination re work .:)
Brilliant @mojo37

Sounds you had a good day @geefull
Thanks for the painting compliments:)
I love your painting today. Bright and cheerful. It's good to change your colour palette from time to time. I will have to look up that painter...
